We found the suite we stayed in comfortable in a central location. The room was of a good size with a nice bathroom and balcony. The manager was great and helpful.This is where I feel compelled to warn others. Our room was directly above a bar/ restaurant. That was fine until around 56 pm it started. Heaving music and drunk patrons until 10.30pm. The law states the music had to cease at 10.30, but loud voices carried on until at least 11pm. The double glazed windows and shutters did not help. I am surprised other reviews have not emphasised this. I am in my 60’s, if you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you.

The owner Alberto was wonderful. The location is ideal, overlooking the beautiful piazza and the lake. No lift, all stairs but doable with large bags. The suite was exactly as pictured. Large, comfortable, and nicely appointed. It was dimly lit at night but full of sunshine in the daytime. The suite was well heated in January. It was wonderfully quiet in winter but I can imagine it would be quite noisy in peak season. The bed was comfortable with nightstands and power outlets on each--perfect for two people to charge devices at bedside. The bathroom was large, but dimly lit. The shower water pressure was good and the hot water stayed hot for the duration, even with two people taking back-to-back showers. The towels were nice. The little kitchenette was great to have. The WiFi worked well. Would happily stay again.
