Typical Days Inn. Being on the Southbound side of the M6 I had to travel Northbound for 20 miles then come back Southbound

When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist sent two guys to help us with the luggage which was really nice. The hotel was pleasant, clean, warm and quiet and the bed was comfortable. As it was a Sunday evening, there wasn't much to eat in the service area, just McDonalds which wasn't too great for older ladies.

Clean, easy and chilled. Short stop on a long drive. Definitely at the more vintage end of hotels but there’s nowt wrong with that. Friendly staff. 24hr desk.

Decent stop over after we travelled from Thorpe Park to get to Alton towers the following day. Got there at 20:30 and check in was smooth. The lady on the desk was friendly! Bed was comfy enough, bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner but was decent enough for the night!

Arrived late in the evening , so was grateful for a 24 hour service desk. I only had to wait a minute til they came to the desk. He was polite and helpful! My room was comfortable & the room heated up fast with the heater in the room. It was alittle noisy due to the location but I chose to stay at a services so all good !
