Very spacious room with amazing sea views, however, decor very old and dated. That said, still reasonable for the price. Some renovation works going on, could be amazing in this location

Hotel under oppussing Hyggelig betjening og im?tekommende personale i baren. Hotellet er under renovering, men vi fikk et helt ok rom for natten. Fin beliggenhet og gangavstand til alt, Tenby er en liten plass.

Excellent location. The hotel was being renovated when I was staying but I wasn't disrupted by it.

Hotel is literally being demolished before your very eyes - hopefully it will come out stronger without leaks, slanted floorways, and better windows. The rooms themselves are extremely small and not super clean. The walls are coming undone with fiberglass showing and it's just a troubling sight. Breakfast was good and staff are doing their best given the condition of the structure.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. All feedback is appreciated. On the ******* booking site it does state that the hotel is undergoing renovation works until the end of October 2024. The hotel changed hands in May and there is a full renovation works in place over the next two years.Kind regards.

Fijn verblijf op een toplocatie We hebben heerlijk verbleven in het Royal Lion Hotel. De ligging is geweldig; pal aan zee. Onze kamer bood schitterend uitzicht. De kamer was schoon, de check-in vriendelijk en het ontbijt was goed. Ons was bekend dat het gebouw gerenoveerd wordt, we zijn benieuwd hoe het eruit komt te zien! Het gebouw heeft met zijn hoge plafonds en mooie ornamenten veel potentie.
