  • Guest：?????????? We caught the first weekend in November where town was decorated for Christmas. It’s been a dream come true for me to experience this. What made this experience truly magical was staying at Bella Itria right at the heart of the old town. Everything was a few steps away (restaurants, charming shops) and it was Christmas magic the moment you step out the door. Location was perfect. We stayed on the ground floor in a spacious, beautifully appointed room that preserved the authentic “cummerse”atmosphere (in contrast to Alberobello’s “Trulli” buildings) while offering every thoughtful modern comfort. The room linens, towels and robes, toiletries were of excellent quality. Gianni the host went above and beyond to treat us like his house guests. The minibar and snacks in the room were included in the room rate! His hospitality was beyond compare - messaged us even a few weeks before we checked in, checking on us while we were there, made restaurant reservations for us, helped us with parking, and orienting us to the town and its activities. He even came over on the morning we were leaving just to see us off and make sure everything was okay even if we were leaving fairly early. Breakfast was at either of two bars/coffee shops very near the hotel and you could ask for anything on their menu. Truly, not a single thing to complain about.

We spent two nights there during a family holiday and booked two rooms: one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, just at the top of the stairs. From the very first contact, the host Gianni was incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive, especially in explaining the stairs situation in advance, which we really appreciated. I stayed in room 2, and it was beautiful, comfortable, and even nicer than in the photos, with great attention to detail and tasteful furnishings. I loved the complimentary mini fridge with water, fruit juices, and a bottle of local wine, all refilled daily. Soft towels, toiletries, and slippers were also provided. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The terrace overlooking a charming street in Locorotondo was a real highlight. The location was perfect, very central, with excellent restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast at a nearby café was delicious, with a great selection and an excellent cappuccino.

Il borgo in questo periodo è magico, con le splendide illuminazioni natalizie che rendono l’atmosfera ancora più suggestiva. La struttura è molto ben tenuta, pulita e completamente ristrutturata. Noi abbiamo scelto la camera numero 2: non è molto grande, ma è accogliente e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari per un soggiorno piacevole. Pulizia impeccabile e ottima sistemazione della camera: 10 e lode sotto questo aspetto. Un plauso speciale va al titolare, il signor Giovanni, una persona di una gentilezza rara. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni utili non solo per il soggiorno all’interno della struttura, ma anche tanti consigli preziosi per visitare Locorotondo e i paesi limitrofi. Consigliamo vivamente Bella Itria a chi desidera soggiornare in un luogo curato, centrale e accogliente, con un’attenzione speciale verso gli ospiti. Torneremo sicuramente!
