Kastro Hotel is a small family business and it's ranked as A category Traditional Hotel.
Today's owner Mr. Apostolos bought the property in 1985, an abandoned mansion dating back to 1830 where, with much love and passion, he refurbished it according to the style and colors of the island and turned it into a small Paradise.

Kastro Hotel is located in a quiet location in the center of Spetses, 98 ft from the sea.
It's 984 ft from the port Dapia and Agios Mamas Beach.

The property features 17 rooms/apartments with all the modern comforts and Wi-fi in all areas and rooms. Our newest deluxe apartments feature 2 bathrooms. Rooms with sea view , pool view and garden view.

Ideal for a few days but equally comfortable for a long-term holiday. We offer free transfer from the port Dapia on arrivals upon request.

Guest： My friend and I were so impressed with The Kastro Hotel. Cristina and her team are beyond hospitable. Everyone at that hotel is kind, generous, friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts are delicious and substantial. I was travelling with my friend and each of our rooms exceeded our expectations. There was a minor issue with the AC unit in one room and Cristina resolved and sorted the issue immediately. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I have already made plans to return back next year with my partner. One night, I forgot my keys for the front gate and Cristina travelled back to the hotel from her home to let me in. During my stay, my friend and I talked to various other guests. Everyone is very friendly and kind and I think this is due to the tone set by the hotel. One couple had been going to Spetses each year for 25 years in a row and had stayed at the Kastro for the last 16 years! In short, loved it, would go back to Spetses and The Kastro Hotel tomorrow. Also took the hotel's advice each night for where to eat and never had a bad meal.
Guest：A perfect gem of a hotel. Friendly efficient staff spotlessly clean accommodation. Nothing is too much trouble and Christianna is the perfect hostess and is complemented by her side kick Vicki. Breakfast is superb with so much choice cooked by the owner, C's dad. The hotel is well situated away from the bustle of Spetses town which is a short walk away The sea is two minutes away giving you the choice of sea swimming or relaxing by the pool. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

There is nothing Christianna and the team won't do to make sure your stay is as special as the isalnd itself. You can truly sense the family operation, with Christianna's father making cakes and jams for breakfast each morning and each member of the team looking so happy and content in their work. A trul magical place, a stones throw from the harbour and beaches and the nightlife on the island. Its very rare to find a place that feels so homely and welcoming. The rooms are fabulous too - they do just what they say. When we had any question or problems to solve (ferry strikes) Christianna just sorted everything out for us. There is no question we will be back.
