Fantastic rural retreat with wonderful authentic evening meals. After a long day of seeing the sights, how wonderful to arrive and know you don’t have to get into the car again when it’s time for dinner. A traditional dinner of local specialties is prepared in four wonderful, easily manageable courses with a starter, a pasta, a meat dish and dessert. There is local wine and coffee or limoncello or both at the end of the- all for one very fair price. I have stayed here annually or more since 2000 and I honestly cannot understand people who choose to drive into town (a long drive with many twists and turns and quite hazardous at night in my opinion) when all of this comfort is right downstairs. I also love the relaxing gardens and the pool area.

Thank you! It is always a real pleasure to host you! We wait for you soon!!!
My family and friends have been coming to Locanda Rosati for more many years now and have always had an awesome wonderful stay. Such a great spot to use as a sleeping spot for comfort and for easy days trips throughout the region to many historic cities in the Ubria/Tuscan area and within close drive and even assissi, florence. The Locanda Rosati breakfasts are great and plentiful, and the dinners are awesome with plenty of wine flowing, and the owner Giampiero is just a wonderful pleasure if you get a chance to unwind and have dinner in the beautifully rustic dining room where you often can meet people from different countries for a great meal of many courses and deserts, and drinks, and conversation. The entire staff at Locanda have always been steady and willing to please. Thank you everyone at Locanda Rosati.
We stayed three days and had such a wonderful stay. We had dinner both nights at the inn and what a great feast. It was so great to sit with other guests and talk about our travels, our families and our hometowns. We met people from Holland, Puerto Rico, a couple from Brazil who were living in Saudi Arabia and other USA folks. The room was very comfortable with a great shower and a great comfortable bed. The room had air conditioning which was quiet. A very relaxing place and with the people running it, this is a great great place to stay.

Thank you very much for your beautiful words! It was a pleasure to host you.
Nice property. Gianpiero, the owner, makes all the difference. Francesca and Alessandra are also very welcoming, and the kitchen team is dedicated. Our room (the Fox Room, Volpe) was good, clean. Swimming pool impeccably maintained, cool ... (21/22 degrees Celsius ?) at the end of September. We had dinner "in house" one night, it was good ... nice service but too copious for us. We also had an excellent dinner at La Palomba in town, Gianpiero knows the owners of that restaurant, and most likely can get you a table. Gianpiero is a great host with a keen eye for hospitality to make sure everyone is well taken care of. When we were there, and probably because of the atmosphere he wonderfully creates with his team, guests exchanged with each other at breakfast and dinner, sharing tips and experiences. One couple was there for the third year in a row. Highly recommended.
I can't say enough good things about our experience at Locanda. We had a group of 20 that consumed the entire facility and we could not have had a better experience. The lodging was wonderful, and the staff were exceptional in every sense. We were greeted wonderfully from the start, and everything about our stay was absolutely five star. The food was also wonderful. Our stay was a brief part of a two-week tour of Italy, but every person in our group singled out Locanda as their favorite stop! We had a family reunion with relatives from Italy and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Very nice location, 10 minutes drive from the city of Orvieto. The house is great, with an amazing view. The room was very clean and with a lot of space. Nice breakfast and very gentil service, I would say again.
Visited Locanda Rosati for a cooking class. A fun family afternoon making pasta and cooking chicken in the Agritourismo kitchen. The cook was very helpful and used Google Translate to explain the finer points of the dishes we were making. Its a holiday cooking class where u eat what you cook as opposed to chef school - but worth it as a fun family activity.
Nice location and a quiet place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean and the breakfast in the morning is excellent. Pool was clean but not heated. Bed was comfy and good linens. We had an attic room which was spacious but a bit dark.
