Zeer mooie kamer met uiterste moderne badkamer en daarbij nog een speciale douche. Super lekker niet alledaags ontbijt. Het verblijf is een ware beleving. Heel vriendelijke sympathieke gastheer. Je hebt ogen tekort in de prachtige B&B .

Een belevenis van de eerste stap over de drempel van Porta Superia tot je jammer genoeg afscheid moet nemen van gastheer Kurt. Het onmiddellijke thuisgevoel en verwend worden met een prachtige kamer met alle details van comfort en charme uitgewerkt. Een kwaliteitsvol ontbijt, aan tafel geserveerd, met verassingen en ontdekkingen van authentieke producten. Onze eerste enthousiaste kennismaking met de stad Mechelen was ook perfekt begeleid met de info vanuit de B&B : culturele hoogtepunten, culinaire adressen, shopping, wandelingen, etc.. Uitgerust en voldaan en met goesting om terug te komen.

We had a brilliant stay at Porta Superia, the whole place is gorgeous and very well thought out and Kurt and Michael were the loveliest guests full of information and suggestions and we had a great conversation one evening with Michael about the history of the building which was fascinating. The room was perfect, nice a roomy - bathroom was gorgeous! And all the amenities that one needs for a few days away. Excellent location very close to the station and a quick walk into the centre. Highly recommend and if we find ourselves back in Mechelen we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Front desk lady was unpleasant and was letting everybody cut me making me wait an extra 30 minutes For no reason. Otherwise, the other front desk, people were very nice and helpful, and the property was just as shown.

Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, beautifuly decorated rooms with great bed linens and bath products. The host, Kurt, is so gracious and helpful with tips on things to see and places to eat. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We could not eat breakfast the second day because of our flight time and Kurt made us breakfast to go and left it in the fridge for us. Everything is so well designed and thoughtfully arranged. Truly a 5 star place to stay!

Great location and walking distance from the train station. Clean rooms and quiet!!! Kurt was very friendly, professional and accommodating. he allowed us to check in early. he provided us with a great history of Mechelen and the area. Love the shower and the natural hair & skin products (shampoo, shower gel and conditioner). I definitely stay there again!!!

Really cool rooms with a great host who was super knowledgeable and able to help out on things to do not only in Mechelen but all of Belgium. Easy to get to from main train station and easy walk into main square

This is where you want to stay in Mechelen. 25 minutes from Antwerp and 25 minutes from Brussels. Amazing ice cream at the Cacao Project. Lovely host, who is happy to give you lots of terrific sightseeing and dining options. Beautiful.

As a local host, we love giving our guests the ins and outs of our medieval city and surrounding area, ideally located between Brussels and Antwerp, our location is ideal to visit Flanders as we are located nearby (5 min. walk ) the trainstation idd. Such a nice host. I highly recommend. Close and walkable to many shops. If you park at bepark be aware that you will need an app or to call from your phone!
