Excellent location, peaceful and a short walk to get to the beach & restaurants. Rennie is a perfect host and gave us lots of recommendations about the island from restaurants to hiking trails. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served in the garden where you can watch the hummingbirds. The only downside were the mosquitos but it was worth a few bites as the gardens were so peaceful and a tropical oasis. We hope to stay here again in paradise! Thank you Rennie for looking after us so well.

Que dire à part simplement merci Rennie et son équipe, notre séjour fut une nouvelle fois merveilleux. Je vous conseille les yeux fermés l'Aratinga avec un coup de coeur pour le chalet Tibouchina. Vive le Brésil et vive Ilha Grande . Nous reviendrons??

A calm and quiet experience. I truly enjoyed well staying at this hotel. It was calm and peaceful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ilha Grande in Angra Dos Reis. The breakfast is delicious and the service is great. Would highly recommend

In November 2023 my wife Samantha and I embarked on a 4 month tour of South America travelling through 5 different countries. We stayed in dozens of hostels, apartments, condominiums, guesthouses and quite simply the Aratinga Inn was the best place by far. Nothing is too much trouble for the fabulous host Rennie. I could go on and on but I’m just going to finish with this, it is no surprise this beautiful space is rated No.1 on this site, thank you Rennie for a perfect few days on that incredible island ??

Lovely and cozy! Aratinga is quiet and clean. Great for couples and solo travelers. Rennie was so helpful. Each chalet comes with a binder full of recommendations. Fabio the private driver was great and speaks 3 languages. Highly recommend Aratinga Inn.

Tuvimos una muy excelente experiencia en pousada aratinga. Un lugar mágico rodeado de plantas y flores. Las habitaciones muy lindas cómodas, todo impecable! Atención muy personalizada. Rennie ,la due?a , siempre está muy atenta a sus clientes y te ayuda en todo lo que necesites para mejorar tu estadía. Desayuno muy completo y rico! Además que en la tarde por buena onda nos regalan cafecito y cositas para comer a la hora del té ( se agradece mucho cuando uno sube de la playa) El lugar está a 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad , pero a la vez alcanzas a escapar del ruido de los restoranes y bares. Lugar perfecto para venir en pareja

What a wonderful jungle paradise. Rennie is an amazing hostess and responds almost immediately. We stayed in room 5 and it was fantastic. The air conditioner worked great. We had a cool day due to heavy downpours so the fan was sufficient. Breakfast was plentiful and super good. There were many varieties of birds to watch during breakfast which made the experience even better. If you stay here you are close to everything on the island. Highly recommend.

Amazing guest house in a beautiful private garden. The only place to stay in Ilha Grande. Rennie our host is a fascinating woman. She lets you know all the good stuff to do on the island. You would be crazy not to book this place. I can't wait to go back.

The most wonderful stay at Aratinga. Rennie is a great host so friendly and helpful. We spent 4 nights and stayed in one of the beautiful lodges. Everything about the lodge and the complex was perfect. The grounds are full of hummingbirds and other birds/wildlife. Generous breakfast and afternoon tea. Would highly recommend

Aratinga Inn is a unique retreat, hosted by the charming Rennie, the inn offers a tranquil escape with personalised touches that set it apart. Rennie's genuine passion for Brazil and Ilha Grande is infectious. Her wealth of local knowledge, shared generously with guests, adds depth to the experience. Beyond typical hospitality, she even imparts impromptu Brazilian language lessons, creating a unique connection with visitors. We stayed for three nights in a beautiful lodge offering the perfect balance of comfort and rustic charm, complemented by thoughtful amenities. Board games provided at the welcoming lounge provided the perfect hideout for those rainy days. It's location provides easy access to the island's attractions, making it a convenient a base for exploration. We looked forward to the delicious breakfast every morning whilst we watched the hummingbirds feed out in the garden, as well as the afternoon tea that hit the spot. Would highly recommend Aratinga Inn; a one of a kind place made exceptional by Rennie's warm hospitality.
