Room was really spacious, staff was really really friendly. They allow us early checkin and late checkout as well. Had a really great time.

First the pros: Beach was amazing Our apartment was fine and worked well for us. They were nice and spacious. Location to the beach and beachfront restaurants.: Cons Pool area was inadequate. Not enough sunbeds. Restaurant wasn't really a restaurant. Customer service was fine but not to the level it should be. Bar area was uninviting To summarize- yes it's right on the beach which was lovely, but the pool area wasn't great and the service was not what it should be.

The beach was amazing and there was a kitchen! But there’s was so many ants and the and the tiles was beautiful but the wall was to dirty but the kitchen got locked I do not know how and the food was horrible and the hygiene was very poor

This was a very disappointing stay as the room had lots of ants, hygiene was really poor as there were a lot of stains on the wall, towels and on the blanket. Instead of a blanket, they gave us a bed sheet. Rooms were a good size, but food was beyond bad. The food variety wasn't great for a vegetarian. The pasta was bad, and after the pizza, we all got sick. The beach , the pool is the only upside as the beach was beautiful and the pool was big and it had adults and a child's pool. Housekeeping only comes once every three days, no matter how much you need it. Service was rude. No AC in food hall and WiFi was horrible. When I'm watching, WiFi cuts out, and we have to wait for ages for someone to answer the phone, and when they do, they take forever to come.

We booked Oceanfront Nilaveli, described as a luxury accommodation for a price comparable to a 4-5 star Hotel. We couldn’t be more disappointed as we found it very far from the nice and cozy condo we expected. Starting from the check in, when we were told our apartment would be in a second condo, 100m away from principal one where restaurant and gym are located. We had booked our stay months in advance (March for August), so there was no point they selected us to stay there. Nevertheless, it was never mentioned while booking that there was a second condo away from principal one. Of course we mentioned this to the receptionist, who really couldn’t care less. No one, of course, helped us with our luggage from reception to the apartment. When we got into the apartment, housekeepers were still inside. Still, pillowcases were all stained, same as the walls (ALL OF THEM). We found dark black long hair on the floor and long blonde hair on the couch. Showers were dirty as well, with naftaline inside that would make the whole bathroom smell terribly. Given the treatment received at the reception, we didn’t even bother asking. I give two stars and not only one just because of the position, right in front of the ocean. Luckily there were many bars and restaurants on the beach so we were not forced to spend more money on this awful structure - not that we would have had the possibility, as restaurant closes at 8PM and you have anyway to book your meals in advance. STAY AWAY, for 200€/night you can surely find much better.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Erg fijn om in meerdere dagen een appartement te hebben met eigen faciliteiten. De bedden waren heerlijk, douches erg goed. Zwembad was heerlijk met goede bedden in zon of schaduw. Personeel was erg vriendelijk!

Plus; ligging pal aan zee, fijn zwembad, ruim appartement met fraai zeezicht. Er zijn een paar leuke strandtentjes waar je lekker kunt eten vlakbij. Min; medewerkers minder vriendelijk dan in andere hotels op onze rondreis tot nu toe. Lobby en ontbijtruimte missen sfeer en doen wat kil aan. Ontbijt is voor Westerse begrippen erg karig, weinig variatie, maar het volstaat. Er zouden wat meer bedjes op strand en bij zwembad mogen staan gezien aantal gasten. Je hebt niets aan appartement faciliteiten als er geen supermarkt in de buurt is. Al met al: prima plek voor 1 of 2 nachten op doorreis maar niet zo mooi als het lijkt op de foto’s.

Het was een van de zeven plekken waar we tijdens onze reis in Sri Lanka verbleven en absoluut de slechtste. Het ligt aan het strand, prachtige locatie en zwembad en tuin zijn top, maar rest is niet goed onderhouden. Kamer heeft gebruikerssporen op muren, keuken is oud en oogt niet fris, gordijnen hebben vlekken, beddengoed heeft gaten, handdoeken waren er niet. Er is veel personeel, maar ze lijken niet te weten hoe ze voor gasten hun verblijf aangenaam kunnen maken. Ik had niet geklaagd als ik dit appartement voor de helft van de prijs had geboekt. Het was twee keer zo duur als mijn andere accommodaties. Deze plek zou een top plek kunnen worden, maar heeft beter management/onderhoud nodig. Voor deze prijs - geen aanrader. Ps de foto’s van de appartementen op boekingwebsites vormen geen weergave van de werkelijkheid. In werkelijkheid ziet er veel minder fris uit.

Appartement spacieux qui ont déjà vécus mais sont confortables. Pas de service h?telier (ménage, serviettes, au moins sur les séjours courts comme le n?tre ) petit déjeuner bien, piscine très agréable (mais très chlorée) la plage à deux pas le cadre est très agréable. En prime restauration légère et pizza sur place ou à emporter et la machine à laver le linge ! Petit bémol sur la route d’accès qui ressemble à une piste plus qu’à une route on peine à croire qu’au bout il y a de si grands complexes h?teliers

Spacious apartment, perfect location next to the beautiful beach of Nilaveli. Several restaurants and activity centers close by. We loved it!
