Positive is it is a great location. And the room was pretty.
Downside, horrible communication. No response to multiple messages sent through *******. No one on site for check in. Had to phone and was told they’d be there soon. Not in the least bit apologetic for the circumstances. Wifi signal extremely weak. Locks to the room are an art you need to figure out. Breakfast included was not as expected. Was down the street at a cafe, you got a pastry, a coffee and juice. I actually liked that, but wasn’t a full meal if that’s what you are looking for.

I loved that this location was partnered with a local cafe. That was a great option for our complimentary breakfast! The balcony was perfect and the room was spacious and clean.

Extremely disappointing. Not recommended.
No communication from the property prior to arrival. We arrived early to leave our bags as offered in the booking, but no one was there. The property could not be contacted through the Hotels app. We went back at check in time, but again no one was there. Another traveller let us in to the building and made contact with the manager for us. He arrived at the property 1.5 hours later and claimed he had no contact details for us. Our details are correct in the app and other properties have had no such issues. Other travellers confirmed similar issues with this property. Despite the room being ok, we could not recommend this property.

Followed up for check in details several times and was told there would be someone at the property on arrival.
No one there when we arrived. No answer when called initially. Access provided 40 mins later.
Air con barely worked.
Fridge did not work. Told there was a power board to connect this to, found this outside the room, still didn’t work.
Blackout next night. No communication or updates.
No safety information in case of emergency.
Cord leading from desk outside room to room next to ours….trip hazard.
Door to access rooms very difficult to open.
The previous positive reviews were far from what we experienced.
Disappointing.

Unfortunately, this stay was not a good one. They didn’t get the air conditioning to work properly until the last day even though they were told it was not running cold. No hot water the entire time and refrigerator was not working and they were told day one. They told us that some of the sockets blew but they were not quick to solve the problem.

I had a wonderful stay at B&B Cavour 10.
The property feels more like a cozy hotel room rather than a full apartment, which was perfect for my needs. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained.
The location is outstanding — right in the center of Florence, close to major attractions and surrounded by amazing restaurants, especially if you love high-quality meat dishes!
The shower was modern and spacious, and a free breakfast was also included, which was a very nice surprise.
I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Florence!
