This hotel seems to cater for tour groups who are loud, smoke in the lobby, pushy during breakfast and the lift. It is also the only hotel we’ve stayed in the whole of Guizhou without a washing machine. Reception told us there’s a ‘drying room’ if we hand wash our garments which turned out to be a hazardous dirty rooftop full of ventilators crap. We cannot understand why they have a such big marbled reception area when they can’t spare a room for basic amenities like washing machines. It is also the only hotel that does not serve coffee or tea for breakfast. Rooms are so outdated and ornate we don’t understand why it is rated four star except for its location.
