Midland hotel is a little piece of history in Bradford. Central location, welcoming opulent entrance and reception areas.Vintage Tiles, chandeliers , wrought iron staircases, high ceilings. It has been refurbished- some rooms are yet to undergo the transformation. . Our room had ?been refurbished- black tiled bathroom , a forceful shower and deep bath. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and as it was an executive room - robe and slippers.?
Bradford is going through some gentrification - some dowdy areas and yet there ?are ?areas of inspiration such as the central square set amongst lovely historic buildings . The tunnels- and pubs/ eateries within are magical( see pic attached, truly ‘ a world of imagination ‘) The Alhambra Theatre - art deco.
My 3rd time staying in this hotel this time in room 319 the room was good and bed was comfortable massive bathroom. Only down side to this stay was the fire alarm going off at 6am in the morning. No view from the window and the bathroom door didn't shut as it was hanging off the hinges. But I'd use the hotel again
