Lisa was very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely. Room 7 at the front, could barely hear the road. The room was very clean and there was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was a full english, with toast and jam/marmalade, also yogurt and fruit available. The b&b had been decorated for Christmas and it was lovely. A 10-15 min walk into Canterbury. Free parking on the driveway with 1 electric charge point if needed @ extra cost ( obviously). Would definitely recommend.

Our stay , while only overnight, was wonderful. The room was spacious and the bed enormous. The staff were obliging and came to fix a light late at night. The breakfast was table service in an ornate room. Very English. The beauty was that it was in the grounds of the cathedral, which we visited several times.

I booked the Canterbury Lodge the day before we travelled as we decided to go away at the last minute. As my partner was working, it was 8.15pm by the time we arrived but Lisa was very welcoming and helpful. She cannot do enough for you. There are some lovely quirky features, lots of pictures, and themed displays So much attention to detail in every way, the room was huge and immaculate, with a nice garden view, and there was a vase of flowers too. Bathroom was fab - great shower. We tried to find a fault with the place and the only thing I could think of was whether there would be fruit at breakfast, but when we went for the fab breakfast, there were strawberries and blueberries so the perfect stay It’s a really lovely place - highly recommended.

Booked for my mums 90th birthday celebration, rooms were great for the cathedral visit, but were very hot and twin beds quite small The breakfast was good and the garden accessed on the first floor worth a visit.

Sch?nes B&B fussl?ufig von der Fussg?ngerzone Canterbury, von der Eigentümerin mit Liebe betrieben, was man deutlich an den beeindruckenden Sammlungen von Bienen, B?ren usw. sieht ;-). Das Zimmer war sehr gross und sch?n eingerichtet. Heisswasserkocher, Tee und Kaffee sind im Zimmer wie üblich vorhanden. Obwohl an einer sehr stark befahrenen Strasse, war unser Zimmer nach hinten raus sehr ruhig, so dass wir gut schlafen konnten. Zum Frühstück gab es t?glich das typische cooked breakfast mit allen gewünschten Beilagen, dies ist auch in einer vegetarischen Variante erh?ltlich (ich esse kein Fleisch), ein kleine Auswahl an Kelloggs-Cereals (Cornflakes, Coco Pops und noch was anderes) und Obst und Joghurt gab es auch. Allerdings h?tte ich morgens gerne auch mal etwas anderes als Beans, Eier und Toast gegessen, jeden Tag ist mir da irgendwie zu viel, aber es ist halt ein klassisches B&B und hatte zu der Jahreszeit auch nicht mehr so viele G?ste. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt sehr erholsam und sch?n.

The host was very helpful but not intrusive, the room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. A welcome gift, chocolates, very much appreciated . The bathroom beautiful and a nice shower

Very nice room but, extremely high bed, I had to fashion a step out of cushions and pillows! The towels were very hard and certainly not fluffy. On the good side the cooked breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful house, perfect location and only a short walk into the centre of town. Classy rooms with four poster beds and en-suites, spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast, with plenty to choose from. The host, Lisa is very friendly and helpful and made you feel at home. We will definitely be back in the future.
