Guest：Summer vacation trip with husband and 3 kids, 10, 13 and 15. Location was decent, still expect to walk quite a bit since Barcelona is spread out. We did not use the public transportation and relied on taxis or walked. Apartment was clean. Desktop in reception area was helpful to buy tickets to sites. Reception attendant was not as familiar with city and could not provide helpful recommendations. By biggest issue was the music from the nightclub next door until 3am. Our apartment was on the first floor and this was awful at night, particularly in the master bedroom. The constant bass was difficult to fall asleep to. This is the main reason I gave it a 3 stars, otherwise I would have given it a 4.
Guest：Our apartment with Uma suites/Smart Flats was very good-great location and well appointed, though the oven didn’t work. The reason for the low rating is that we were offered a discount due to the oven not working plus appalling service on the day we left when we were trying to check out -we went to the location we were told to check out at but it was closed and none of the phone numbers we were given were answered which meant that we were sent from pillar to post trying to check out. In addition, we had booked a taxi to the airport but there was no communication as to when or whether this would arrive. We spoke to Uma who said that we would be refunded part of our rental fee due to the malfunctioning oven and the poor service on check out. This dispute is ongoing (hence the late review) and we are at a stand-off now, with Uma refunding a certain amount and then, without our permission, taking back part of the refund. The apartment was great, as I said, so it’s a great shame that Uma/Smart are such an unbelievably unprofessional and disorganised outfit.
Guest：I was very pleased with Splendom Suites, Barcelona. I was glad that my travel agent suggested this apartment. It's clean. Not only got serviced daily but also had the turn down for the night offer (which we didn't avail as we found it too much - the workers need their rests as well). The location was walking distance to Pg de Gracia (shopping strip) and Las Ramblas. It even only took 40mins to leisurely walk to Sagrada Familia. Convenience stores and chemists in every corner. Food places are accessible. We just needed to remember where they are as there are so many. TV programs also had options to switch to English if available. It's like home away from home. Only minor complaint I have was the leak in the shower. Didn't want to use the extra towels but had to. Once in place, there was not danger of slipping. I have notified management via survey and I have no doubt that they will fix this. Highly recommend staying at Splendom Suites.
Guest：Hemos eatado una moche alojados con un grupo de amigoa y hay que decir que el apartmento esta muy bien y bien super bien ubicado!! Pero la pena es que las camas estan para renovar..... nos hundiamos todo el rato.. y no solo yo sino las otras 2 habitaciones todos hemos coincido con lo mismo. Ubicacion excelente Lastima tema parkig, hemos aparcado parking mas cerca saba urquinaona y hemos pagado para 1 dia + 3h = 60 y pico lo encuentro excesivo...
