The staff at the Residence Inn at Cork were very welcoming and friendly. They were helpful in recommending places to go to make our evening in Cork a memorable one. The woman at check-in on July 5th told us about this park on top of a hill with the most beautiful view of Cork & the sunset. That was definitely our favorite part of the town.
One suggestion is to do something about the sinks in the bathroom. Because they are so shallow, it is impossible to use them without spraying water everywhere.

We had a wonderful experience in Cork. The hotel had everything that we needed. Since this was our third destination on the trip, we badly needed to do some laundry and the hotel has some excellent provision for that. The room was well equipped with a fridge and kitchenette. The location is excellent. The Moxy's bar next door has some awesome drinks and live music. The hotel is close to everything (pretty much). The breakfast is great. The staff is wonderful.
Strongly recommend.

This is a very conveniently located hotel, and there is a parking garage just across the street with a discount for hotel guests. You can be in the center of town in less than 10 minutes on foot. Lots of access to shopping and restaurants. A wonderful breakfast at the hotel itself and excellent staff with very helpful information. It’s a quiet hotel as well and the room was clean, modern, and well-equipped.

Back at home and taking time for this review…….Our experience over all with the hotel facilities, accommodations and location were all excellent and will highly recommended to anyone traveling to Cork. But where the hotel exceeded my expectations was in their staff. Although every interaction we had with hotel was great, I will like to bring up 3 staff members that made the world during our stay. Giselle was the first person we met during our check-in. She met us with the biggest smile and made us feel very welcoming. Unfortunately my husband had a medical emergency during our first night there that required him to go to the hospital. Rodrigo and his coworker ( so sorry I can’t remember her name ) went above and beyond helping us to get an ambulance , making calls , talking to the emergency services to help take my husband to the ER. When the ambulance was no where in sight, Rodrigo went to the street and was able to get us a taxi that took us to the hospital. Next day as my daughter was having breakfast, some how Giselle found out about what was happening to my husband and she went and spoke to my daughter to offer her some words of encouragement and to tell her that if she needed anything that she was there to help. When we returned back to the hotel Giselle met us again with that big smile and she made sure that we were doing ok throughout our stay. I will never forget her kindness towards my family. I will like to thank Giselle, Rodrigo and his co-worker, and the rest of the staff and Residence Inn Cork. Monica Ortiz

If you've stayed in any Residence Inn before you'd know what to expect. The Queen/King rooms are slightly smaller than the residence inn, slough so that was disappointing but the manager was very courteous and despite a full house, he upgraded us (cz of the Gold Bonvoy status) and the one bedroom apartment on the same floor was way more super spacious. The hotel is modern and new in Cork. 5 mins walk across the bridge to the shopping district and tons of restaurants right across the bridge. They were helpful with keeping the luggage cz we had an evening flight. And printed a map of the city and told us about the sightseeing places around. Warm and friendly front desk. A good choice of stay in Cork. Thumbs Up!

Just returned from a very enjoyable weekend in Residence Inn Cork.Mysely and My Wife had a wonderful stay in this Hotel.From Check In on Friday to Check Out Sunday had a relaxing time.Accomdation in our room was excellent. Kitchen facilities while not needed were great to have. Bed was extremely comfortable and showed was unreal.Only downside was Breakfast.Small selection of hot breakfast just sitting in hot trays.No menu and no alternatives offered.The real Diamonds here are Svenja and Charlotte.They were professional, charming and nothing was too much trouble for the.Would suggest that Management find ways to make greater use of these special Ladies.Would call to have coffee and a chat with them anytime.

I hadn't been back to Cork for while, so it was good to see a few new hotels around the city centre region. I chose the Residence Inn as I knew it was on the Quays so close to MacCurtain Street and places like Sin é. The Opera House, English Market, Washington Street and Oliver Plunkett Street are all short walks across the river too. The hotel was clean and well presented, staff always had a smile and a greeting each time I passed and breakfast was functional with coffee on tap. (The AC was just as handy as the central location as it was cold and wet while I was there but that didn't dampen my break and a chance to catch up with friends. )

We had an amazing stay! The room was spotless, with every detail perfectly taken care of. The entire property is absolutely gorgeous. A special shoutout to the staff at reception, who were incredibly welcoming—especially Giselle and Aishling , who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be returning! The staff at the Residence Inn in Cork Ireland were great. They always did their best to answer all our questions as well as help us with anything we needed. I want to give a special shout out to Kenji, Gisele, Shania, Petra, and Aisling ??. And a super shout out to Adriana, who provided me with fresh cut lemons and limes everyday.
