The owners and staff are such wonderful people. It has a beautiful view and going to Carmen or Catmon is close and easy. Short drive to the hot springs.

Rest and tranquility Roger and Filimina are great. They greet their guests warmly and graciously. The premises reflect their labor of love and personal touch from design and build of the building to the lovely landscaping throughout. And the views from the perch above the main highway affords tranquility and respite for the weary travellor and the city escapee for the weekend. I extended my 3 night stay to 5. It's a wonderful way to while away the day.

Hidden Gem The owners are very nice, our stay was very nice. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. The best part was the view.

So pleased we chose to stay at High Steps Pension instead of a down town hotel. No hustle and bustle or air pollution here. Just a fabulous view, a cool breeze from the sea and the scent of flowers. The pictures say it all. Our room with ensuite also had a fully equipped kitchen and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Simply a hidden gem. Will definitely stay again.
