The Hoxton, Lloyd is one of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in. The entire hotel had so much charm and character, as well as very helpful staff. The room was very spacious, very different from what I have come to expect from most European hotel rooms. It was also a joy to come back, from long days of sight seeing, to clean sheets and fluffy towels. I also highly recommend their breakfasts - very high quality food and great coffee!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Hoxton Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam! The rooms were lush and incredibly spacious, perfect for our group of four (two parents and two teenagers). The double beds were massive and so comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive—spacious and attached to the rooms, making everything feel incredibly convenient. Honestly, it felt more like staying in a private apartment than a typical hotel room. One unique feature we loved was how the double rooms were set up—you go up a small staircase once you’re on the floor, adding a cozy, exclusive vibe to the whole experience. The location was excellent too! It’s just three tram stops from Amsterdam Central Station or a pleasant 25-minute walk if you want to stretch your legs. The surrounding area is lovely, with a supermarket across the road offering fresh juices and plenty of food options. Plus, there’s an amazing bakery nearby—so popular there were queues outside every time we passed by! The hotel staff were super friendly and efficient throughout our two-day stay (December 30th-31st). We couldn’t fault anything about the experience. I would absolutely recommend The Hoxton Lloyd Hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam. It’s perfect for families or groups, and the combination of comfort, convenience, and charm makes it a standout option.

Not great experience, many reasons like no lift access above 4th floor & below 5th Floor room Our room not being cleaned inspite of repeated request Breakfast ala a carte, where you get to order just one main course & a cold/hot drink, everything else is chargeable....wat a waste

The hotel is located very close to the Amsterdam Centraal station but still required an Uber or taxi to get to if you have luggage. I would not recommend traveling Europe with your rolling luggage, the sidewalks are mainly all brick and not a smooth ride for you and your suitcase. Upon arrival you are greeted by a large historical building. The building that the hotel now occupies was used for many various purposes including a refugee shelter for the Jewish population during WWII. Then repurposed as a prison, and then an juvenile detention center. The layout of the building strongly reflects its history as a detention center. It is not cold and uninviting but instead you are welcome to discover the remnants of such a remarkable building that has been converted into a hotel. A strong similarity to the Liberty Hotel located on the Charles River in Boston. The Liberty was also a prison which famously housed Malcom X as well as Sacco and Vanzetti. The stay was very pleasant, we booked two rooms for 3 nights both were separate beds. The space was ample and the decorations fit the theming of the room very well. The bathrooms were well kept and very clean. The restaurant downstairs was mediocre. We booked a dinner there and left still feeling hungry and slightly disappointed. The mussels gave one of the people in our party food poisoning for a few days. The breakfast at the restaurant however is very good. overall I would recommend anyone to stay in The Hoxton Lloyd. It was a wonderful experience and would definitely book again or even discover their other Hoxton property's. The Hoxton brand left a very good impression on us.

This hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and charming rooms. Excellent service from all staff - they should know their kindness was much appreciated. Only negative - if it is that - was that I couldn’t figure out the heating nor open the window. But truly not a big deal. Location is ideal for the tram.

This hotel is a little outside of the bustling part of Amsterdam. But it is convenient to other restaurants and bars within this area, as well as having one within the hotel itself. The staff was super friendly, the rooms and hotel overall were very clean. It has a historic, hip and trendy vibe, which we loved. The bunk rooms are perfect for a family. They’re spacious and you still have privacy. And the beds were very comfy! Definitely recommend! Side note… from the airport or the cruise port, make sure your taxi/uber driver knows it’s the “Hoxton, Lloyd”, not just the “Hoxton”. There are 2, one is near the Jordan District in the heart of Amsterdam, this one is a bit outside the main part of the city. We ended up at the wrong hotel originally.

Stayed for a few nights for a mix of business and leisure. Very friendly staff at reception. The restaurant serves tasty breakfast (a la carte) and dinner (didn’t try lunch). Nice cocktail bar with good cocktails. We also used the daily free bike rental which was great. Our room had a great view over the water. Room is well equipped and very spacious (we had the slightly bigger variant). Very comfy bed. The hotel also has some good spaces to do a bit of work in peace. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Het Lloyd hotel is een zeer sfeervol hotel in een prachtig historisch gebouw in een fijne buurt! Het hotel heeft heerlijke kamers, en een heel fijne brasserie! Bedden zijn erg comfortabel en het hotelpersoneel is erg professioneel en gastvrij.

Stanza molto spaziosa e servizi eccellenti. Perfetto per i bambini. Location perfetta per raggiungere il centro città con i mezzi vicinissimi (linea 7 o linea 26 del tram). Staff preparato e molto disponibile. Ci siamo sentiti accolti benissimo

H?tel très sympathique du point de vue stylistique, style art déco :avec de grands lustres dans la salle du restaurant, les chambres sont immenses, le personnel souriant ne parlant pas fran?ais ?? mais très agréable, le petit déjeuner n'est pas sous forme de buffet mais s'il est inclus dans votre réservation vous pouvez vous faire plaisir avec au moins 2 plats. L'h?tel est à environ 40 minutes à pied du centre ville. Je recommande
