I cannot speak highly enough of this b and b. The host was friendly, a tad eccentric, informative and thorough. The breakfasts were amazing with so much choice. Thank you.

Very cosy and warm environment; friendly and helpful hosts; great breakfast; safe private parking facilities; excellent location for sight-seeing and visiting Buxton town. Highly recommended.

Memorable stay.
A beautiful Victorian house. The hosts were very friendly and breakfast was superb.
I would thoroughly recommend Kingscroft.
Great access to Buxton... so easy to explore. Very comfortable bed.Everything we needed and more.

We enjoyed or stay here. The host, Volodimir, was very welcoming (as were the family members I met). The room was spotless, and the furnishings and decor in keeping with the period of the house, with some quirky little twists. Very reminiscent of New England B&Bs.
Breakfast (despite being meatless) was amazing with generous helpings.
My only slightly negative observation is that the en suite was very compact. It being squeezed into a traditional room. This is always a problem with older properties and is perfectly adequate except to those of very generous proportions.
This shouldn't deter anyone from staying at this excellent property, hence my 5 stars

Great proximity between Lyme Park and Chatsworth for all you Pride and Prejudice fans! Beautiful house, breakfast was lovely. Lots of nice amenities in the room as well- slippers, robes, pillow spray! Convenient parking as well.

A fine B&B situated in a quiet, leafy street in an historic town in the Peak District. Lovely tastefully furnished room with 4 poster bed, garden views and nicely situated within a short walk of dining options. . Hearty breakfast, Informative and friendly host.

Our stay was lovely in this beautiful Victorian house which has been furnished and decorated to suit the property. It was spotlessly clean and the dinning room had fresh flowers on the tables which we liked. The breakfast was amazing with very generous potions from a wide variety for vegetarian options. The owners are extremely pleasant and will definitely return

What an absolutely charming place. Kingscroft is someone's home and not a faceless hotel. It's quirky, delightful, full of intrigue with a very warm welcome. Spotlessly clean with an olde world charm and associated comfort - if we hadn't had to dash could would have sat in the lounge played chess and the piano all day Tremendous host, excellent breakfast, comfy beds, fluffy towels - a top guest house with excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble - a refreshing change. We had to pre order breakfast but so much choice the granola was excellent - fresh fruit salad looked beautiful and excellent coffee.

Kingscroft is an unmissable stopover in the area. It is a family-run B&B in a quiet, gorgeous leafy location. We booked last-minute and were lucky enough to secure a room from a cancellation (their loss)! It was truly the most comfortable and beautiful B&B experience. Our hosts were impeccable; friendly, welcoming, and incredibly interesting. The room was pristine, with carefully thought out amenities and the most scrumptiously soft beds. and breakfast was an absolute treat. We left feeling full of delicious, great quality food. This is the place to stay! We will be visiting the area again just to enjoy a few more nights at Kingscroft. Thank you to all the team there!

Fantastic host made our stay more enjoyable. Lovely rooms and enormous breakfasts. Full of character and close to the centre. Will definitely stay again, can’t recommend enough. Parking onsite was easy as there seemed plenty of spaces. Wol will be seeing us again. Thanks for a great stay
