Simply the best b&b we have been to in the UK. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable and linen sumptuous. But the best thing was the breakfast. We are not vegetarian and there are no meat options but that didnt matter. The choice was extensive and the food plentiful and very fresh. Its in a great location for central buxton, on a quiet, leafy street about a 10 -15 minute walk to the opera house and gardens. Would definitely recommend kingscroft b&b

What a wonderful guesthouse. Fully vegetarian and as a meat eater initially I was a bit disappointed. However, there certainly wasn’t any need to have been as the food on offer was absolutely delicious. Our room was excellent with very spacious with four poster, table and chairs, mini fridge and a bowl of fresh fruit. nice bathroom and spotlessly clean.

We had a 2 night stay in this beautifully presented, comfortable, lovely guesthouse. Very warm welcome from the friendly owner who could not have been more helpful. Huge choice for breakfast and large portions that nearly defeated us! The room had everything we needed and the place was immaculate. Only a short walk into Buxton. Highly recommend for a very pleasant stay.

Don’t look any further for a perfect stay in Buxton. You’ll be warmly greeted by the very informative and humorous Vol on arrival, enjoy the best breakfast imaginable cooked to order by Vol’s wife and be situated within a very short walking distance of restaurants, pubs in ‘higher Buxton‘ and the charming Buxton centre just a few minutes further away. The downstairs sitting room and staircase landing are tastefully decorated in the style befitting the house and the rooms offer far more than expected. Our four poster bed was so comfortable, the fluffy towels and bathrobes and slippers a very welcome touch, as were the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Not to mention a bowl of fresh fruit, fridge full of still and bottled water plus tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits provided. All in all a perfect stay - will definitely return.

Amazing b&b with free parking on site The rooms are so spacious and have lots of little extras like shampoo/ conditioner shower gel ect. The breakfast is a pre order the night before and one of the best breakfast I've have in a long time at a b&b all cooked fresh and to perfection. The host is extremely friendly and couldn't do any more for you thank you for a lovely stay.
