Beautiful house in a wonderful location with lovely gardens. I stayed in a room at the top of the house with fab views across the countryside. The room was tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed and a very clean bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of fruit and yogurt, full English (AMAZING sausages!), and plenty of toast and marmalade. Although there was no staff, except for the pleasant lady cooking breakfast, the self-check in was very easy with full instructions left. Highly recommended.

We got married here with over 100 guests in late May 2024. Having visited a number of other potential venues, none of which had the right "feel", we knew the moment we pulled up that Wethele Manor was the place for us. The venue itself is beautiful, set in delightful grounds, and the various accommodations (both indoor and "glamping pods") were charming and very comfortable. There are a surprising number of useful indoor spaces, including a large marquee attached to one of the buildings, which leads to a separate room for band / DJ and dancing. We really appreciated this, as it meant that those who didn't want to dance could stay seated either at their tables or in some of the more relaxed, comfortable seating areas and chat easily without the music taking over, and those who wanted to dance certainly did! We had a number of quirky requests for our wedding decor and entertainments and I must say that Wethele did everything to ensure it all went to plan. We knew our special day was in very good hands. The staff were numerous, efficient, charming and helpful at every point of the day itself, and the whole thing could not have been more perfect. Breakfast next morning was generously portioned and delicious. 100% recommend

Absolutely fantastic wedding venue with wonderful staff and service. Beautiful setting and a lovely feel to the whole place. The manor, the grounds and the inside spaces are all incredibly beautiful and beautifully maintained. A great venue for weddings and other events.

We visited the Christmas light trail on Saturday 16th December after having to change our date due to both my daughters being ill. I didn’t expect them to change the date for me so I’m really grateful they did. My daughters loved it and me and my husband really enjoyed it too. It’s quite a small trail but some added extras on the way round made it so much more enjoyable than others we have been on. We will most likely be back again next year

We have just returned from a magical stay at Wethele Manor. 20 of us, all in our 40's, on a hen do and we struck gold finding this place! We wanted for nothing; the gardens, the decor, the location, in fact the whole set up was just what we wanted and more. Rebecca even help us arranged brilliant wine tasting at the house. We all left trying to work out how we can all come back with other halves and families and wishing we had known about it when we were getting married and looking for venues! Honestly, if you are a large group wanting a characterful house in a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning grounds, with all the facilities you could think of (the kitchen is so well stocked for banquets!), then this place should be on your list. All we hope is that everyone who uses this beautiful property in the future shows is the love that the owners clearly give it. Thank you team Wethele Manor - hope to see you again in the future!

What a find! We recently hired the whole house for my best friends hen do, it was everything we could of wanted and more. The house is so beautiful and located perfectly in lovely countryside but only a short drive from the local town. Communication with the family owners before and after the stay has been brilliant, I asked lots of questions and they were more than helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Nothing we would change at all. We had gorgeous weather so could enjoy the well kept gardens but even if there was rain, there was plenty of space in the house to enjoy the facilities. Thank you so much Wethele Manor, we will be back again ??

An old mansion converted to hotel. The location was beautiful, room was huge and have character but the service and the smile from the staff takes the win. There are other small complain such as the floor board creak so I can hear when upstair is moving. The bathroom need some maintenance especially the hot water I have trouble turning down the water's heat.

The place is easy to find on Waze with ample parking and, although I arrived after 9pm, check-in was very quick and simple - no forms to fill in. My room was immaculate, well appointed with a 4 poster bed and decent sized bathroom with large bathtub and shower. The room was clean and warm with a fantastic view out the front over rolling fields. Apart from the creaky floorboards (it is a very old property) I had absolutely no complaints with a great night's sleep. Breakfast was served bright and early and was included in the price and was reasonably comprehensive with continental or English breakfast supplied. My eggs were done well and the toast was perfectly crisp - ust how I like it. Check was as fuss free as check-in. Overall, the stay could not have been any better. Well recommended and great value for money.

Iysh: We chose Wethele Manor as the venue of our wedding. Whilst I had high hopes for my day, I can honestly say that Simon and the team exceeded our expectations. The setting is absolutely beautiful with quite a few of our guests staying behind after our wedding the take photos of the grounds. During the day the amazing staff kept our guests drinks topped up, whilst also ensuring they were well fed. No request was too much and we couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality and care that went into making our day special and memorable. Kyle: The setting is amazing!! The weather was on our side so we could enjoy the grounds for most of the day. The Manor itself is full of character and gave plenty of opportunities for photo opps. Simon and staff were on it from start to finish, even with some last minute amendments. I really couldn't speak more highly of the team. We've since received countless compliments from guests about how great the setting was. Perfect for the big day!
