  • Guest：Forget this hotel. Heating not working in room in autumn winter. Many fellow travellers said the same! Entertainment poor. Shower poor.
  • Guest：Food was excellent but our issue is that all entertainment etc is held in The Derwent which if you have mobility issues is too far and inconvenient as it has 4 hotels on a 7 acre site Bar isn’t open till 5.30 in the Toorak also which we’ve never experienced before Receptionist was helpful,waiting staff and barman Josh too but we were part of a coach trip on a mystery turkey and tinsel trip this week.
  • Guest：We enjoyed our stay and thought nearly everyone of the staff were polite friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, good choices, well presented and some of the sweets were very artistic. The service was very good and our table of six were all given our meals at the same time. A boiler had broken while we were there and they were waiting for parts to repair it. Some of our coach party had no heating they were given heaters. Our room was lovely and warm so can't comment. The entertainment was in the Derwent hotel (one of the group) and quite a walk through cold corridors to get to it .Almost impossible for people with mobility problems. When we got there there were no seats. This was not a priority for us but would have been good if the venue had more seats. Overall a lovely stay and I would go back again.
  • Guest：Have stayed at the Toorak in the past, last time 2 years ago. Sadly standards have dropped significantly. Menu had 1 vegetarian option that was curry, so spicy that was couldn't eat it. Waitress appeared not wanting to be here, leant right across me to remove the side plate. Wine waitress was professional and pleasant. Rooms need updating although clean. Dining experience is not what it used to be, sadly we would not return
