Good check in. Flexible check out. Small lobby. Free tea and coffee.

We stayed 1 night and it's about a 10 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal. Convenient location and staff was friendly. Room had a kettle and there was coffee and tea downstairs.
Room was very clean and had an updated decor.

Decent enough stay fairly central. Staff initially appeared a bit rude but got better the longer we were there. Heater didn't work properly in my room but provided an electric heater so that warmed up room nicely. Wouldn't mind staying again

Lovely clean room. Excellent friendly staff. Good drink facility in reception and in room. Rooms are smallish but don't let that put you off.
Excellent location 10 mins walk from central station.

Insgesamt war alles sehr gut und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt war, dass unser Zimmer etwas kühl waren. Daher haben wir einen Stern abgezogen. Ansonsten hat uns alles gefallen, es gab sogar gratis Kaffee. Top!

The hotel is located in a traditional tall building overlooking a stretch of water. On the other side one could see various modern buildings. The area around the hotel is quite pleasant with a cycle track running in front of the hotel as well as a road. The "nieuwmarkt" area is within walking distance and here one can find many restaurants and cafes. The condition of the hotel is good but the stairs are steep which is to be expected in such an old building. Breakfast was available for an extra 17.5 EUR.

Minha estadia foi excelente, o hotel é super bem localizado, funcionários s?o simpáticos e super educados. Cheguei mais cedo que meu horário de checkin e pude esperar na recep??o do hotel tranquilamente. Pude usar a cozinha do hotel quando precisei esquentar algo no microondas, também pude guardar minhas malas depois do checkout. O quarto estava limpo e era bem espa?oso (quarto triplo). O hotel é lindo, n?o tenho o que reclamar, voltarei mais vezes com certeza!!

A Fantastic Stay at Hotel Libery Amsterdam
My recent stay at Hotel Libery Amsterdam was truly delightful. The hotel is impeccably clean and clearly recently renovated, giving it a fresh, modern feel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay.
The location is perfect for exploring the city—right in the heart of a vibrant tourist area. Nearly all major attractions were within walking distance, eliminating the need for taxis or buses.
A nice touch was the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby, available 24/7 for guests. While the hotel does have an elevator, be aware there are 4-5 steps at the entrance and one small step to access the elevator itself.
The rooms are compact but spotless and well-organized. A standout feature was the drinkable tap water provided throughout the hotel—no need to buy bottled water! Daily housekeeping kept everything tidy,

The Hotel Library has an unbeatable location and room size!
Spacious big bed, enough walking space in the room and nice bath/toilet size too.
Location wise it is on the very main road - walking distance of 8-9 minutes from Centraal Station and opposite to the floating Chinese restaurant.
The views of the road from our room were really amazing too. Its heater quickly heats up the room.
TV is okay size and has few English channels - who doesn’t like to watch a TV in the hotel room before going to bed!
Their room service is good - they make the bed and give fresh towels.
There are few things that kind of take away one or two stars:
- the elevator, though we are happy that they have one, but the one installed is very slow and you have to keep the buttons pressed and if you take the fingers off it stops midway
- we asked for top floor since the views are always nicer from a height and they gave us the 3rd floor (top most) however, the hotel must clarify that after 2nd floor there is no elevator to the 3rd floor and to top it up, the stairs to the 3rd floor are so steep they reminded me of exercise called spiderman mountain climbers!
- their room service team however do not clean the area around the kettle. We had sugar dropped and used cups kept and they wouldn’t clean on daily basis saying the cups are to be cleaned by the guests - this was shocking! I expect this to be part of cleaning duty irrespective whether i stay one night or four!
- TV channels - out of the few that they have most of them wouldn’t air any content and just names of the channel which is quite irritating when you are given only two-thee channels to flip through.
Overall i rate it a 3.5 / 5 for the staff at the reception were really polite - all of them!
