I have just stayed here for three nights as part of my Rugby World Cup 2023 visit. I booked this apartment as soon as the locations of the matches was announced, so about 18 months ago. A lot of rugby fans who did the same experience accommodation being cancelled, but I did not have this problem, the booking was honoured. The area that the apartment is located in is great. Don’t be put off by the photos it great. Lots of small family run restaurants serving wonderful food. Lots of graffiti, lots of steps, but the area was very quiet and perfect for us. To get up into the apartment there are lots of narrow stairs, I don’t think it’s suitable for people with mobility problems- but the area itself has cobbled streets and many steps. The apartment was clean, well equipped with a fridge, hot plate, cutlery etc. Bed was a good size and comfortable. Pillows seem to be an issue in France! But they were OK, towels could have been better, but that’s just me being fussy. Good shower, lots of hot water. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you to the hosts!

Le Panier Enchanté - Suites & Loft, Emerald Suite 2nd floor Super big apartment, great location in Old Port, lots of restaurants/bars/supermarkets within walk-in distance. Easily walking distance to the port of marseille, Cathedral de la Major. You will receive easily understood instructions on how to access Suite. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with lots of steps, but very manageable with luggage. The room is very big, with a large bed (my husband is 6’4), AC/Heater which worked great, kitchenette with coffee machine, kettle, dishes, plates, pot/pans, hot plate, microwave, dish soap, sponge, salt, oil…. Everything you would ever need. Bathroom is very spacious, great hot water pressure, soap, shower gel available. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and as a bonus there is quite a large courtyard with seating. I would definitely stay here again.
