Une belle demeure originale et très bien tenus. H?tes charmants et très sympathiques. Accueil au top. Chambres originales et bien équipées. Petits déjeuners excellents avec beaucoup de produits faits maison. Merci pour tout. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre étape du GR20 chez vous. Quiet outskirts of Ronda with spectacular view. Very peaceful and quiet stay. Room AC was broken and room amenities could be taken care better

Une belle surprise, au calme et en pleine nature
La Casa Alta est une pépite à découvrir. Dans une magnifique batisse, bien entretenue, au calme et dans un bel écrin de verdure, on peut se reposer au calme, à 10 ou 12 minutes de l'agitation de Ronda, non loin des villages blancs et des maisons troglodytes de Setenil de Las Bodegas. L'idéal est d'y rester quelques jours, nous regrettons de n'être restés qu'une nuit. On reviendra !
La vue sur la campagne est fantastique. Le petit déjeuner est varié et excellent. Notre chambre était spacieuse et propre, la salle de bains aussi. La literie est confortable, les draps agréables. La piscine est belle (serviettes fournies). Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Nous n'avons pas testé les bungalows.
Pour l'accès, il faut taper "Villa Casa Alta" sur les sites GPS, sinon c'est un peu compliqué de trouver. Le chemin d'accès, dans une allée de cyprès, est splendide. Bref, une très belle adresse, à un prix très correct en plus !

Warm welcome after finishing GR20 Nord, swift laundry service, excellent home cooked dinner, accompanied with some local liquors, soft beds and a great breakfast - all organised by two friendly and helpful hosts. We will for sure come back when starting the GR20 Sud ! Thanks guys.

Arriate retreat at Casa Alta BnB near Rondo
Casa Alta was the pinnacle of our trip through Southern Spain. Just off the beaten track and following a visit to Rondo we found the welcoming staff, grounds and room to exceed all expectations. The sounds of the neighboring ranches, the unique light that illuminates the gentle landscape and the peaceful feel of the olive orchard acted as a salve to the spirit. The main building seems frozen in time, and the breakfast of fresh bread, jam, honey or proscutto and manchego with fresh coffee was the perfect start to the day.

Peaceful retreat
Such a lovely place. Nestled in the forest close to amazing hiking. Henry and Vincent were amazing hosts. Incredible breakfast and dinner with local and homemade products. Thank you again!
