I’ve stayed here multiple times. Reason: it’s 5 min walk from the north gate of the Dukezong town and the girl who runs the place is super helpful. She helped me book bus tickets online and also with courier. Last time she helped find me a guide to go hiking.
Also, the place is nice and clean. They have some rooms with floor heating, humidifier and oxygen supply.
The accommodation is beautiful with a very friendly and lovely young lady as host. She picked up our luggages from the entrance of the Dukezong ancient town and the accommodation is just a short cobblestoned walk away. The town is beautiful and they have dancing every evening in the ancient town square where everyone can join. Wouldn't mind staying here again if I'm in Shangri-La again.
The hotel is very well located, right in the heart of Dukezong Ancient Town. You can get to all the main attractions in Dukezong by foot. The staff is also helpful. They helped us carry our luggage from the hotel to the gate of the old town after we checked out. The bedroom is spacious and cozy, it makes you feel in tune with the traditional ******* lifestyle.
