The hotel is very pretty, well situated in a quiet street of the old town, the rooms are charming.
They're clean enough although not spotless, and they have weird one-use towels instead of normal ones.
The bigger problem is: don't book any extra service with them!
We booked a taxi to Yubeng through the managers and payed a really high fare in advance – it dropped us off in the evening 14 km away from final destination, leaving us to walk a steep 8 km uphill and pay extra for a jeep for the last 6 km because the road was closed (the information was actually on the internet, they didn't bother to check) and they refused to refund anything, saying it was "nobody's fault".
We got a very good price staying here for a night. The location is great and easy to access all areas in the old town. The staffs were nice and helped us with luggages - need to send message to them via trip first.
Taxi fee is reasonable from railway station to old town and from old town to Songzanlin temple (not more than 20 Yuan). There are heaps of Tibet dressing shop available, many are dressed up walk around the city.
The owners are very helpful and have good recommendations. The rooms are okay but really good for the price. Its right in the center of the action. The one thing I would recommend is if you are really used to farms, cows, and horses I would not recommend going to napai, but for posing and pictures its good.

This was one of the best places I’ve stayed, highly recommend. I am a solo traveller and my host Xiao Lu was so friendly and warm. She showed me around town providing information on key sites, she also gave me recommendations and booked experiences for me, this was really helpful. I felt like I had an authentic experience of Shangri-la because of my host.
Would definitely stay here again!!
Nice hotel, helpful staff and the location is good. Facilities could be better and the room isn't cleaned during the stay. Nice garden, the room is warm. Nice place to stay
