“Viste le recensioni mi aspettavo di piu” La struttura è vecchia e andrebbe ristrutturata un po’ La posizione è vicino al centro ma è in una strada molto trafficata e da su un fiume maleodorante La colazione e abbondante, molto buona la colazione indiana, ma se avete voglia di yogurt, frutta o succhi non ce ne sono Il servizio è un po’ lento, abbiamo chiesto più volte che ci sistemassero la cassaforte Ci hanno dato un solo asciugamano a testa (il telo doccia) C’era il bagno bagnato perché un rubinetto perdeva Abbiamo dovuto chiedere che ci rifacessero la stanza perché alle 17 non l’avevano fatta 01 feb 2026

This hotel was suggested by my friend for several reasons that can be coined excellent. I am short of any expeession other than saying "excellent". The hospitality they showered right from our entry at the reception through the days we stayed and the room service was simply courteous and amicable. Folks at the reception and the room service were all pleasant, attentive and obliging from time to time. Our special thanks to lokesh and antony from room service and to Mr siva and antony at reception, their service will take this hotel a long way in their success! Now talking about the amenities - we stayed in the king suite with balcony and this is perfect for a family of 4. There is enough space if you were working or conducting business to take a few meetings without being disturbed. A perfect setup to address rest and work! The breakfast every morning was sumptous, well served and quite good - both indian and continental. One could ask for nothing more here, breaking the barriers of a typical buffet....the kids enjoyed the swimming pool at the rooftop which was well maintained and very clean! I would say this was the best utilization of the space in the hotel. Lastly, the cost is reasonable for the package and i would say they should maintain this to stay competitive with other hotels in the area. The hotel has access to several spots and decent restaurants, mostly walkable - which is another limelight for chosing this hotel. Our 4 nights and 5 day stay was extremely relaxing, comforting and enjoyable making the trip memorable. Keep it up team Palais de pondy!!! One small suggestion - if possible kindly consider mounting a wall clock at the swimming pool area for ease. Our sincere thanks - from Gowri & Vijay

Excellent staff. Very good and prompt service. Spacious rooms. Great location. Customer focused management. Special mention for owner Mr Murugesan, Front office staff Shiva & Antony and Lokesh. We had a wonderful stay ??. Breakfast is arranged from outside at present. It comes as platter with good collection of South Indian and North Indian options. Sufficient quantity. Food quality is good, though it was sourced from outside. In fact, they are starting their own restaurant very soon for which the work was in full swing. The location is very good. Lots of good cafes nearby. Beach is walking distance.
