This is an affordable nice hotel in the center of Aachen. The breakfast was nice. The bed was bad. It was too small and the mattress was very bad. I couldn’t get a good night sleep. It was also very noisy.

Older but well run clean hotel, easy access from the train station with a short walk into the old part of the city. Very good breakfast. Would recommend.

The location for us travelling by train was excellent. It was just several minutes walk. For the price it was a good hotel. We enjoyed the breakfasts. I liked that they had coffee and tea out 24/7, you could buy other drinks and that glasses were provided. The reception staff members were very helpful. The only downside was that we got put on the top floor where there was no elevator so we had to take our suitcases up some stairs.

Frühstück war in Ordnung. Lage für unsere Gruppe gut, man war schnell in der Innenstadt. In den Zimmern sollte vielleicht hin und wieder kontrolliert werden was defekt ist.

The property was in a nice spot and was well maintained and clean. For a short trip it was a lovely location.

We had two nights at the Hotel Am Marschiertor and it was a fabulous location within easy walking access of the old city. We had a spacious room on floor 4 although it was bakingly hot, until we worked out the portable AC unit needed water! The wifi was good, there was a decent desk for work and the shower was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast had plenty of options and was a great start to the day The hotel was 10 mins walk to the cathedral, straight down the road so it was easy to navigate! Decor was a little dated but it was clean, well organised and a pleasant and good value stay.
