Just got back from staying at the sefton lodge in Paignton it was really lovely hosts made you you feel welcome and a gorgeous breakfast to start the the day
An awesome couple are Wendy and Steve great welcome on arrival Steve took our cases up to our room, while my husband got his breath back, the room had a balcony with an amazing view of the sea, the pier and now the extreme circus book tickets it's an amazing experience, very loud in the big top but worth it, nothing was too much trouble for them, the tea and coffee were replenished on a daily basis all in all we didn't want to leave, they hugged us as we left as we had quite a few chats during our 2weeks holidays 100%best place to stay
We couldn’t fault anything the room was very clean and comfortable the views were so good not far from amenities breakfast was also very good and Steve & Wendy were really good host and very friendly we would not hesitate to go again which is already booked for 2026 x
We had a wonderful time staying at Sefton Lodge. We had a room with a sea view and balcony. The room was spotlessly clean. Steve and Wendy were brilliant hosts. Breakfast was perfect and set us up for the day.
Steve and Wendy, amazing couple and the perfect hosts. Stayed for a week and slept really well. Decent beds, very clean and a lovely breakfast too. Around 75m from Paignton beach. All you could want really and more compared to others at this price and above!
My wife and I booked the room with balcony with breakfast rate for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. Owner lady showed us our room and was pleasant to talk to. Room was basic but it was clean and had tea coffee making facilities which was replenished and bed made up/ bin emptied which was nice. My only small negative would be to have some miniature shampoo/shower gel in the bathrooms for guests! We were offered full English in the morning which we didn’t fancy but the owner lady offered us some alternatives which was nice, it was all freshly made and she was very attentive through the breakfast service. Unfortunately the funfair was in town so it was loud and noisy across the road in the large grassy park area, where the fair was pitched but fortunately we slept well enough. This is by way of no fault of this b&b nor any accommodation along this whole esplanade road which would be effected by the fun and frolics. The limited spaces at the rear is 1st come 1st serve and is very tight if you have large cars. We would be happy to stay here again , thanks
Had planned to stay 2 nights but loved it so much we stayed another night. Greeted by Stephen on arrival, room lovely and clean with a balcony you can sit out on. Breakfast was lovely all cooked fresh. It's close to all the amenities and directly opposite the beach and surprisingly quiet given you are by the main road. We can't wait to return as its excellent value too.
