Nach einem herzlichen Empfang durch die Inhaberin zeigte sie uns unser Zimmer. Sehr sch?n eingerichtet mit separatem Raum und Sofa. Alles neu renoviert. Wir bekamen an einem Tag einen Englisch Creamtea mit selbstgebackenen Scones, clotted cream und jam. Wunderbar. Und gute Tips für Besichtigungen hatten sie auch.

Just returned home after a fabulous long weekend at the Elmdene. There are 7 lovely ensuite bedrooms and i had booked them all for a family/friends reunion. It was all perfect and we are all returning next year to do it all over again. Kim and Trev looked after us well and the accommodation couldn't have been better. The onsite carpark was even big enough for all of our cars. There is a electric charging point being fitted next week so this will just be the icing on the cake. The hotels open bar/lounge area was ideal for us all to gather and enjoy ourselves. The whole place is spotless with luxury fittings. Everyone slept well and ate well with Kim's famous cooked breakfast with healthy options also available. The hotel is located in a lovely tree lined residential area within close walking distance of The Bay and Torquay town. If you did need transport you have a choice of bus, train and taxi services close by should you want to enjoy a tipple.

This is the 4th time we have been to the Elmdene for the weekend. We absolutely love it there and always have the best time. The rooms are so spacious and Kim and Trev think of everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect, only a short walk along the beachfront into the centre. Couldn’t recommend highly enough - we’ll be back again next year!

Had a great time staying at the Beautiful Elmdean always made very welcome by Kim and Trevor thank you both. Always lovely to see you both, can’t recommend your beautiful place enough very comfortable, food amazing, bedroom very comfortable beautifully decorated as is the whole place, Looking forward to next visit x

This is the third time we have visited and all I can say is it was as superb as usual. Kim and Trevor are fantastic hosts and the rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast is really good as well. For me this is the perfect location. It's a short walk to the town centre, easily walkable even after a few drinks and an even shorter walk to the beach while being in a lovely quiet location. I can't praise this hotel enough!! Brilliant value for money!!

We love a The Elmdene and have a couple of 4 nights or more stays per year . Kim and Trev are fabulous hosts . The rooms are kept beautifully. We had a third floor attic room number 6, which is a large room with a seating area and a lovely shower room .Breakfast is served in a bright charming room with a very good choice to suit all tastes . The weather was wonderful. we had a trip on the ferry to Brixham one day .The train station is close by, so we visited Teignmouth and had a lovely day and meal another day . Torquay has had a lot of improvements made to its Abbey and the Harbour area. We have, as always, had a wonderful break . Many thanks, Kim and Trev

Fantastic stay at Elmdene. Kim and Trev were so inviting, and it felt like we were on a family visit. The room was pristine and bed so comfortable. Also, the hotel is well situated to the town with a quick stroll through the Abbey. Highly recommend if you travelling to Torquay to book your stay at the Elmdene.

The hosts Trev and Kim really went above and beyond to make our stay perfect The accommodation was set back from the road and offered a lovely peaceful location, yet a short walk from the sea front and town. The room, you couldn't of asked for more it has everything you could possibly need. It even had it's very own living room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was amazing nothing was too much trouble. I really hope to be able to come and stay again.

Yet again another great visit to the Elmdene. Lost count how many times we've been now!! So full after such a great breakfast, hosts are great ??nothing is any trouble for them. Home made scones left in your room. it was home from home. Rooms are so comfortable and bright. Ready to visit again.
