Thanks to Andre and his staff for a excellent time. The accommodation, location, food and service is outstanding. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a breakfast outside next to the pool was amazing. You can't go wrong staying at this amazing place.

I was fortunate to enjoy an overnight stay at The Sanctuary in Prince Albert. The house was immaculate inside and out and I enjoyed the finest suite in the building. Great sleep and an excellent breakfast partially prepared by my host, Andre.

It was again an awesome stay! The house is well renovated and very stylish! Andre is such a nice owner and so friendly and helpful! The relaxed and perfect service and for sure the rooms…beside this amazing pool….we really can recommend and will definitely come back as soon as possible!

The Sanctuary is easily one of the best places that I have stayed at. Central location. Safe parking, swimming pool has an appealing area with umbrellas, deck chairs and tables. The guesthouse has everything you could want and more and has been designed so that all rooms are private. There are stoeps with couches so that you can sit outside and watch the world go by, The rooms are incredibly spacious with everything you could want and more- books, TV, (with DSTV) tea, coffee, nespresso machine and fridge. The. bed was top class. The bathrooms are new and large. The whole guesthouse is immaculately clean, Andre was a fabulous host. We were treated to a wonderful breakfast. Everything was just perfect. Much care has been taken by Andre to provide a truly memorable experience. I look forward to returning. Thank you Andre

Had the most amazing time at this beautiful guest house on the main street in Prince Albert. Andre really went our of his way to accommodate us even going to fetch my husband extra milk (he drinks glasses of milk :)for his breakfast ..thank you Andre !

We only stayed one night but we are already planning our next visit. Our host Andre could not have been more welcoming and shared dining recommendations with us. The house is a beautifully restored Victorian property on the Main Street and our room had everything we could want, including a spacious en suite bathroom. The lovely pool was a welcome reprieve after our drive - one tiny quibble is that a couple of extra loungers (or even floor cushions would be great) The breakfast was amazing - worth the trip for the cheese muffins alone! We left a small item behind and Andre could not have been more helpful in ensuring it was sent on to our next destination. A definite 5* from me!!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Sanctuary, which indeed it is. It is hard to imagine that you're actually staying on the main road in town surrounded by cafe's and restaurants yet when you enter it is so very peaceful. Our host Andre was fantastic and so was all the staff.

I stayed for two nights and used the Sanctuary as the base for a cycle tour to the top of Swartberg Pass. Very nice place, extremely helpful host, Andre, and the best cappuccino in the morning that I've had outside of Italy. Thanks!

Andre was a wonderful host, who dealt with our unexpected late arrival and provided recomendations of in town restuarants . Room was prefect for our needs but being close to eating area on the ground floor was a little noisy the one morning. This didnt detract from a lovely stay overall
