Booked in for 2 nights, amazing quirky pub with rooms, our room was Superior and was very spacious We ate on the 1st evening and wasn’t disappointed, loved the local villager vibe and the mix of non locals The Manager was super helpful and friendly

Lovely sunday lunch we had the roast beef and it was delicious cooked perfectly and then the best sticky toffee puding i've tasted! The staff are always so friendly i would highly recommend as you will not be disapointed and so reasonably priced

We've used the 8 Bells many many times over the years and it always pleases. Atmosphere, food, staff, what more is there to say? It's just one of those fabulously quaint pubs that is a real gem. Dined here recently for lunch and everything was just perfect. Top marks as always to the team, and especially those behind the scene who prepare such delicious food. You deserve the top marks and gold stars! Well done as always.

We stayed in the charming, unspoiled town of Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds for 7 days and enjoyed the atmosphere and food so much at The Eight Bells on our first visit that we dined there a total of 3 dinners. All the food was delicious (best fish and chips I’ve had ever) and the service wonderful. Highly recommend. When traveling, you can’t miss going to places that locals frequent

Warm and comfortable with engaging staff and a competent kitchen. The hotel offers excellent value amidst the high prices common in the Cotswolds. Accommodation is simply furnished but more than adequate for a short stay. Take note, though, the "small double" rooms are indeed small. There is no reserved parking and whilst we had little difficulty finding nearby street parking in February that might be much more of a challenge in the warmer months of the year when Chipping Campden is extremely busy

We ate here last time we were in the town and were staying at another establishment which was not so much to our liking. A pub with rooms is not always what we go for, but from ringing up to ask about rooms the service has been excellent. We arrived on a wet Friday afternoon, drinkers in the bar of course, but were treated very well and shown to our very well appointed room. Large bed, good wardrobe, decent bathroom and all those other things you need. Ate in the restaurant both nights and well please, breakfast also was very good. Must have seen 8 or more members of staff during our stay and ALL of them were polite and well presented, whihc matters to us old folks! Fantastic all round, thankyou!

We arrived after a long drive, friendly staff and good customer service. We were offered a drink and then shown to our room. The room was clean, well decorated and spacious. It has all the facilities I would expect, the bathroom was modern and bright.

This was a great stay in a charming village. We had room #1, which is in back and up the stairs. Super comfortable and quiet. Cooked to order breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs. There is a wonderful bar and restaurant which complements the delightful stay. Parking is on the street which is no problem. Great walks into the countryside begin from here. Would love to return and stay again.

Had a family birthday meal here. The food was nice but the meal was ruined by rude comments being made constantly towards our children from the land lady. All other staff were lovely but unfortunately majorly let down by the needless and rude comments. Would not recommend you go for a nice family meal out!
