We stayed in February 2024 and it was the perfect place for a winter getaway. The accomodation was lovely and very spacious, the pool refreshing and having animals around very charming. The surroundings and the view of the Atlas mountain was such a joy every morning. To have breakfast at the terrace to that view was magical! But the highlight was the food - and it says a lot considering how great it was to stay there in every way. Both the Italian and Moroccan cuisines were perfectly prepared and every meal was an explosion of flavour and joy. The couple who owns the place and the staff were incredibly lovely and welcoming and did not hesitate to make our wishes and requests be fulfilled. Highly recommended.
We reserved the entire hotel for a four-day family reunion, and it was fantastic. The property is beautiful and spotless. The cuisine is a delightful blend of authentic Italian and Moroccan dishes, prepared by the Italian and Moroccan owners, supported by wonderful Moroccan cooks. The pool is one of the finest in the Marrakech area. The service is exceptional—always ready to assist with a warm smile.
This is a beautiful place. A bit like farm stay with peacocks wandering, a donkey in the fields and fresh produce everyday. The hosts Francesca an Khalid were very helpful and the food was really fantastic. It is quite remote so you definitely need a car to get anywhere but the peace and serenity is a nice contrast to the madness of central Marrakesh.
This is a Fantastic and truly hidden Gem! we are soo glad we’ve discovered it through thorough searches online. Khalid us a genuine and a true professional host! he took care of us and the service was exquisite. we’ve enjoyed the tranquility of the organic surroundings and the food was if a high quality and taste! we are going back and recommending it to all our special and loved ones! this place us run with heart and soul!
suis encore émerveillé par mon séjour à l'Upupa de l'Atlas, cette charmante maison d'h?te située à seulement 30 minutes du centre de Marrakech. C'est un véritable havre de paix où la générosité et l'amour sont omniprésents. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les h?tes, Kalid et Franska. Ils ont transformé ce petit coin en un paradis terrestre, où tout respire l'authenticité et le respect de la nature. L'ensemble de la propriété est d'une propreté irréprochable, chaque détail est soigné pour offrir aux visiteurs une expérience unique. La particularité de l'Upupa de l'Atlas réside dans son jardin et son élevage d'animaux. Ici, tout est 100% bio. Pouvoir se balader dans le jardin et observer les animaux dans leur environnement naturel était pour nous une expérience en soi. Sans parler des repas, préparés avec des produits frais issus directement du jardin, qui étaient absolument délicieux. Je dois avouer que j'ai quitté cet endroit avec un pincement au c?ur. Mon seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu y rester plus longtemps. Kalid et Franska ont réussi à créer un lieu où le temps semble s'arrêter, où chaque moment est savouré et chaque rencontre est significative. Si vous êtes à la recherche d'un séjour hors du commun, dans un environnement paisible et ressour?ant, je vous recommande vivement l'Upupa de l'Atlas. C'est plus qu'une simple maison d'h?te, c'est un voyage au c?ur de la nature et de l'humanité, une expérience qui vous marquera à jamais. Venez, c'est un lieu rempli d'amour et de générosité qui n'attend que vous.
Nous avons passé la fin de notre séjour en famille avec un enfant de 3 ans dans ce havre de paix. Calme et sérénité étaient au rendez-vous, cela nous a permis de nous reposer après le tumulte de la ville. Merci infiniment à Francesca et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux et d’avoir été aux petits soins avec nous durant notre séjour.
