Stayed here for two nights and had mixed feelings about the hotel: What worked: the location was excellent and very central for the old town and popular sights. While some reviews criticise the ease of parking and getting into the hotel, I honestly can’t see any way of making it easier given the hilly nature of the town! The fabric of the hotel was great too, which amazing views of the city from the dining room. It’s a very stylish building with a nod to the Ottoman period in its interiors. Breakfast was enjoyable: yes, the buffet was pretty typical for Albania, but special shout out to the older guy who brought us decent coffee, pots of local tea and fresh fruit. What didn’t work: our room was too close to the dining area which meant lots of noise from the dining area. The younger female staff do not hide their resentment of hotel guests and ignore questions and avoid eye contact. One evening, there was an event on in the dining at a and the only way to get to the room was to walk in front of the band: this felt really awkward as if we were gate crashing a private event. While the room was mainly clean, every towel had long dark hairs on them. Not sure if this is a fault of the laundry.

Historic building with welcoming hospitality and very good food. Magnificent views from the dining area. Good local wine selection. Somewhat difficult and narrow uphill route to the hotel, and parking is three floors below the entrance.

excellent hotel tres bien situe,chambres spacieuses bien fonctionnelles avec des mules jetables de qualite.Excellent accueil et content de recevoir des touristes.Je recommande cet hotel Petit dejeuner bien garni,convient à toutes les tendances culinaires

Chambre exceptionnelle à tous points de vue . Bonne surface ; vue magnifique sur la ville . Style "ottoman" dans la décoration récente . Bon équipement . Deux climatiseurs ? Deux télévisions . Reception souriante . Enorme terrasse de restaurant au même niveau ou au niveau supérieur en plein air ; dans un cadre également exceptionnel . Prix raisonnable . Seul "gros "bémol : un petit déjeuner "indigne" d'un tel hotel et qui est en complète opposition avec tout le reste ; salle exigue , choix archi limité en tout . Un des plus médiocres petits déjeuners de notre "carrière " de touriste . Quel dommage par rapport autres aspects qui sont remarquables. Etonnant ;!!

Een hoge prijs voor een gebrek aan rust. Het hotel van over het algemeen goed maar er was veel hinder door geluidsoverlast. Op 150 meter afstand is een uitgaansstraat met keiharde muziek en in het restaurant speelde een life band. We zaten in de laatste kamer van de gang nabij de keuken, de bevoorrading, wasmanden en een ijzeren trap.

Nuestra habitación era estupenda, con unas vistas preciosas. Las camas muy cómodas y el ba?o también cómodo y limpio. Lo que se podría mejorar sería el check-in, ya que no siempre hay personal en la recepción y tuvimos que esperar un buen rato. El desayuno regular, con poca variedad.

Rooms are nice looking with great view, but that's about it. Food quality was the worst we had in Albania, especially the breakfast, very poor quality. Pity, because it can easily be a great hotel, if services were good. The fridge in the room did not work. They said they will fix it, but never did in the 3 days that we were there. Beds are not comfortable.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel and it was an incredible experience! The beauty and comfort of the place are indescribable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Before our arrival, they checked in on us to ensure we found the road to the hotel. When we encountered blocked roads due to an event nearby, the staff escorted us to another route. The front desk girl carried our luggage up the stairs and promptly to our room. On Saturday night, there was live music which made our stay even more pleasant. The views at night were simply amazing. The rooms were decorated with traditional elements intertwined with modern amenities, and they were very spacious and comfortable. As advertised, breakfast was included with our room. The morning manager and entire staff were very accommodating, kind, and struck up pleasant conversation. The bazaar was conveniently located nearby. The atmosphere made this an epic experience, and it was humbling to be able to participate in the rich culture and community. I am very grateful for this experience.

Parfaitement situé pour visiter la vieille ville. Une très belle vue sur la vallée. Petit bémol quant à la température dans les chambres et les espaces communs (nous y avons séjourné fin avril).
