Nie wieder. Hatte die Suite gebucht. Na ja. Schlafzimmer oben. Heizung an ersten Nacht defekt bei -3 Grad drau?en. Raumtemperatur 13 Grad. Also Matratze nach unten und auf dem Boden geschlafen. Nach Beschwerde Heizung angeblich gemacht. Leider lauwarm... Also 2 Nacht wieder auf dem Boden geschlafen. Nach Beschwerde nur Antwort SIE HABEN JA PECH MIT DEM ZIMMER. Kein Ersatz Zimmer angeboten. Für das Suite sehr viel Geld bezahlt und 3 N?chte auf dem Boden geschlafen... Nicht zumutbar... Darum die schlechte Bewertung...

Wir waren 2 N?chte dort und dafür war es ok. Bei unserer Ankunft lagen im Treppenhaus tote Insekten, die bis zur Abreise bis hinter einen gro?en Blumenkübel ?gewandert“ waren. Es gibt einen kleinen Fahrstuhl, der aber für den Koffertransport v?llig ausreichend ist. Unter unserem Bett lag noch ein Bonbonpapier vom Vorg?nger und gesaugt wurde garnicht, was unangenehm war, da der Dreck von den Wanderschuhen das barfu? gehen im Zimmer unangenehm machte. Es gibt eine hübsche Terrasse für die G?ste. Beim Frühstück für 10,50 gab es alles, was man am Buffet erwartet, etwas mehr K?seauswahl h?tte mich gefreut. Bei ge?ffnetem Fenster h?rte man recht laut die Stra?e. Aber man ist zu Fu? sehr schnell am See oder in der Fu?g?ngerzone. Für unser Kommen und Gehen interessierte sich niemand, nicht mal unser Gru? zur Dame am Empfang wurde erwidertet (mit einer Ausnahme) . Wie gesagt, für uns war es ok, aber mehr auch nicht.

Das Zimmer war für eine Nacht ok, das Bad aber eher klein. Die Lage des hotels ist zentral. In wenigen Minuten ist man in der Fu?g?ngerzone, in ca 15 Minuten am kalkberg. Zum hotel geh?ren sechs Parkpl?tze. Man muss Glück haben, um einen zu bekommen.

Cute hotel in a small town Very cute hotel in a small town. The hotel was small and easy to find and the rooms were big considering the size of the hotel. The only thing I would suggest is that if you’re not fluent in German this might not be the best place. The staff tried their best to communicate and answer questions and having a translation app on our phones helped.

This is a nice hotel situated in easy walking distance to the pedestrianized center of Bad Segeberg. There is a major supermarket in walking distance. There is a hospital next door which may account for some traffic at night; no ambulance sirens though. The hotel is tastefully decorated with images from the Karl May Festspiele. The rooms have functional bathrooms with shower stalls. The water pressure is great. The rooms are light and airy as well as comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of foods, e.g. cold cuts, cheeses, fish, fresh bread and rolls as well as cereals. When you arrive for breakfast, look out for the notes with room numbers on tables - the staff designate your tables for you. Staff is friendly and on sight till 10 p.m. Parking is challenging as the hotel has only a few free parking spaces. However, a short walk away, near the large lake is a parking area that is available. Park your car overnight without charge at your own risk. We had no issues.
