Guest：Absolutely perfect start to our holiday in Sri Lanka. Arrived very late (early hours of the morning) and we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. Such a comfortable and amazing place to stay. We were only there two nights but wish we could have been there longer. It's a bit out of Colombo but we were very happy with our decision to stay there. Magical place. Delicious breakfasts.
Guest：Staying at 55TG boutique from April 2nd to 3rd, 2025, was the perfect way to conclude our Sri Lankan adventure. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! Arriving early from Tangalle, we were warmly welcomed and allowed an early check-in to our room, the "Art Suite with a beautiful Garden View." It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. While the initial wifi signal was weak, our host, Dilshan, immediately demonstrated his exceptional attentiveness by bringing a router directly to our room, which resolved the issue completely – we had a great connection afterwards! This level of proactive service was truly impressive. Throughout our stay, Dilshan and his crew were exceptionally attentive – making us feel like we were guests in a 5-star establishment rather than just a boutique hotel. The food was another major highlight. While seafood wasn't available on the menu at the time, the team was very accommodating and even offered to purchase alcohol from outside for us if we desired. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast there, and everything was absolutely delicious. The fish curry and rice at dinner was genuinely the BEST meal we had during our entire trip! They even made the setting incredibly romantic, decorating our table with rose petals. As if that wasn't enough, they surprised me on my birthday morning! I certainly wasn't expecting techno birthday music to accompany my scrumptious breakfast – it was such a fun and unexpected touch. It made our early departure for the airport feel even more bittersweet, and we truly wished we could have tipped Dilshan and the wonderful staff more generously for their fantastic service. The grounds were quiet and private, contributing to a very peaceful atmosphere and a great night's sleep. We also noted the lovely facilities, including a swimming pool and sauna, which added to the relaxing environment (though our short stay sadly didn't allow us time to enjoy them!). Our overall stay felt far too short but was simply wonderful. Our sincere compliments and thanks to everyone at 55TG boutique – thank you for making our stay, especially my birthday, so memorable and special. It was the perfect ending. (P.S. Guest：completely renovated by the owner who is a famous interior designer, this boutique guesthouse offers every modern comfort you can think of, combined with old historical ornaments all over the place. Good wifi, all amenities present as well as an eversmiling staff who fulfills all your wishes adequately and keep the premises spotless clean. Highlight of the property is definately the salt water swimmingpool. There is a steamroom available as well.
Guest：This was our one of the best stays in Srilanka. Very interesting design, big cozy room and atmospheric garden/surroundings. Food needs to be mentioned too - great dinner for a good price and superb breakfast! We loved it. Last, but not least their staff: extremely helpful and friendly helped us with all our needs. Dilshan was just great! Also Kasun was super friendly! We will be for sure back! ??
