Just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay. We made a mistake when we booked and inadvertently booked the hotel room as opposed to one of the apartments. I enquired at reception and they very kindly moved us to one of the apartments (number 17). with very little fuss. It had everything we could wish for and would recommend to anyone, its near the waterhead at Ambleside and about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Its in a beautiful location opposite the lake and very quiet.

Another excellent stay in these apartments which are spacious clean and comfortable. Convenient for buses and the Windermere ferries and only a 10 to 15 minute walk into Ambleside. This is a great base from which to spend a walking holiday.

We had the most amazing quality stay at this small Timeshare complex our apartment 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms was immaculate condition loved the new block paved courtyard also enjoyed the very well maintained pool and jacuzzi lovely and warm complementary towels excellent laundry with washer/dryers plus free powder and comfort everything you need on hand at no cost Special mention to the most outstanding professional kind attentive staff Leigh Debbie and Carol thanks for making our holiday so pleasurable looking forward to our next stay

Very good location 1 minute from water. Nicely appointed and very clean. Bedrooms were fairly basic, but comfortable. Ensuite a bonus. Lighting in bedrooms and kitchen could be better, but thats a minor niggle. One family with 3 v small children kept shouting and leaving scooters and toys etc. strewn about the mews area, which was frustrating. That is no reflection on the resort though. However, everyone else was polite and respectful to each other. Staff were helpful, polite and prompt to respond to requests. Would happily stay there again, and recommend to others. .

Small resort located perfectly, just a 30 second walk from the shores of Lake Windermere. The friendliest resort staff ever who were obviously proud of the site and were a pleasure to speak to. A small but functional pool which was perfect for the two of us as we had it to ourselves the 3 times we used it. Restaurants and amenities in Ambleside were a 10 minute walk away. We had good weather for February and enjoyed cruising on Windermere as well as visiting many of the National Trust properties nearby.

Everything went to plan,we had a heavy snow fall on the 2nd day which added too the enjoyment.Going in winter to the lakes is recommended if you are walkers.We used the buses to get to the areas to walk.

Although the apartments are small they are functional and cosy. The apartment has ensuite for the main bedroom. There is also a walk in cupboard for drying kit. Great location for Ambleside with hotels and bars providing food nearby. Easy to catch a pleasure boat for a trip on the Lakd

The apartment was a good size for us as a couple but would be squashed for six people. It was extremely clean with everything you need when self catering. The bed was comfy, great big fluffy towels and a fab shower plus bathroom. Even a wee Christmas tree as we stayed between Christmas/over NY. A tree with fairy lights in the court yard. We were fortunate to be allocated one at the front, on the ground floor as requested due to mobility/heart problems so cannot easily climb external stairs. Although on the front hardly any road or resident noise. Electricity is expensive so be aware if staying in the cold winter months. We stayed here nine years ago but that was a warm September so electricity then was minimal. Plenty of choice of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops in the area plus the ferry to Windermere was operating. Good location for walkers. Hopefully we will be fortunate to make a return visit. All staff caring and friendly.

The staff and check in process exemplary. Nothing is too much for the staff and they are friendly and willing to help. The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped. Ideal location for exploring the Lake District. I can highly recommend the resort.

Everything one could wish for in self catering accommodation with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with quality pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses. Free access to washing and drying facilities at the resort. Quality also is the word applicable to Booths, the nearest large supermarket in nearby Windermere. A review would not be complete without mentioning Kate and her staff who could not be more helpful.
