Lovely little resort in a perfect location over the road from the Lake. It's also over the road from a lovely pub which has a restaurant. Only gave the resort 4 stars because our unit the main bedroom felt damp, but no sign of damp

we enjoyed a lovely holiday at Quaysiders in March Although wet most of this was at night we are regular visitors here and enjoyed visits to theatre in Keswick , Cartmel, Grasmere, Kirkstile inn at Loweswater ( fantastic steak and ale pie), derwentwater, Buttermere and cromack water. enjoyed the Art shop in Grasmere and enjoyed a great lunch there Debbie was very helpful at the resort pity Kirkstone pass was closed for March

There are some really good things about this place. The price was fantastic, the location, allocated parking, facilites all as described and very clean. I was really only put off by the welcome that I had. I planned my day to arrive at the start of the advertised check-in time. I was called by the receptionist prior to that to ask where I was. It seemed she had come in on her day off and she didn't want to hang around. Perhaps the place needs an update to say to call to confirm your arrival time?
