Another lovely stay at the Crowndale with Pat and John. Always welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Great choice of breakfast, cooked, fresh fruit or cereal and toast. Room is warm and spotlessly clean, bed really comfortable. Tea, coffee provided in the room with bottled water in the fridge and a bottle of milk fresh every day. Looking forward to to next year's break!

Absolutely brilliant week again at the crowndale hotel...Pat and john and sarah Absolutely brilliant did everything they could for us once again nothing to much trouble at all ...Absolutely stunning hotel and location good ..Room amazing and comfy food was great as always thank you john ?? his breakfast are amazing and miss them ?? ??..Will see you all very soon

From the moment we arrived at The Crowndale Torquay, we were made to feel completely at home. Pat and John are such thoughtful and welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and they genuinely care about their guests comfort. The room was spotless, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed with lovely little touches that made our stay extra special. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet street but still just a short walk to the seafront, town, and all that Torquay has to offer, Overall, Crowndale is an absolute gem, with warm hospitality, spotless rooms, great cakes, and excellent value. We would not hesitate to recommend it and look forward to returning on our next visit to Torquay.

Came here for a lovely break with my girlfriend, great location to where you need to go in the local area, not far from Torre train station, the room was very homely and spacious, the bed was really comfy, the host was very welcoming, I would definitely recommend to others.

The hosts John and Pat are such a lovely couple and offer hospitality at its Best! We had a beautifully presented room with so many little extras touches that made our stay just perfect, we couldn’t have wished for anything better, definitely a 10/10 from us and we have already recommended to our family and friends, we can’t wait to return, Take care and send our love to you both, Maddi & Mark xx

What a gem! From the moment we walked in, John and Pat made us feel like old friends. The hotel is spotless, full of lovely little touches, and the breakfasts are top-class. Warm, welcoming, and perfectly located – this is exactly how a seaside stay should be. We’ll 100% be back!

This Hotel in our opinion is the best small family run business it’s situated a short walk from the beech and the nearby restaurants. Pat and John are so welcoming so friendly it really feels as if you’re visiting family. The rooms are spacious lovely comfortable bed there’s even a fridge in there too, now the breakfast is literally to die for there’s a variety of cereals and fruit and then the cooked breakfast which is freshly prepared with toast as well. I really couldn’t recommend this Hotel enough we love coming here Pat and John really want your stay absolutely perfect and can’t do enough for you.

We have just had a wonderful stay at the Crowndale Hotel. Pat and John are the perfect hosts nothing is to much trouble. The room was spotless, large and has everything you need. It was really good to have fresh milk in the fridge for drinks and a lovely suprise to get fresh muffins to go with our coffee. The breakfast has so much choice and the cooked breakfast delicious. Off street parking at the back of the hotel is great you do not have to carry bags far. Pat and John recommend places to eat and places to go, great especially if you do not know the area well. It was not far to walk to the Centre of Torquay and easy to get to other places such as Paignton, Brixham and Babbacombe. Would definitely recommend this Hotel and we will be back when in the area again Yvonne and Tony

The best B&B i have ever stayed in English. Lovely hosts , they are cutest couple and lovely people with golden hearts . We had best experience in here. We got very lovely cooked hot breakfast made by hosts couple and we felt like we are home , it didn’t felt like we are staying in B&B . Will definitely come here every time we visit torquay. This hotel lives up to its five star reviews. It was excellent value for money; the rooms and hotel were spotless, extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. This is a family hotel run by Pat John and their daughter who all went the extra mile to make our stay so memorable. We booked a double room but once we arrived Pat saw that my husband was 6’ 4”she was so concerned and thought we would find the bed and room too small for us. While we were out Pat managed to swop rooms placing us in a room with a super king size bed and a large en-suite wet room. Nothing was too much trouble and there was an excellent cooked breakfast every morning of our choice. I would recommend this hotel 100%
