Titchwell Manor is a Victorian farmhouse which now offers luxurious boutique accommodations. With a variety of rooms across the farm buildings and main house, Titchwell Manor provides a calm and comfortable setting in north Norfolk.

Each individually designed room has its own private bathroom with shower or bath and luxury toiletries, flat-screen TV, telephone and tea and coffee facilities. Many have sea or garden views.

The manor hosts an informal bar and dining area with views of the ocean, and the 3 AA Rosette Conservatory Restaurant, overlooking the walled garden. Led by an award-winning head chef, many of these restaurants’ dishes make use of local Norfolk produce.

Titchwell Manor is surrounded by open fields and woods, which are ideal for walking. There are warm log fires in the winter to snooze in front of. Dinner and Breakfast can be taken in the formal Conservatory or the casual Eating Rooms.

Guest:Fantastic one night break. Comfortable room initially a bit cold due to a heating problem but was efficiently resolved without fuss. I really appreciate how the team of staff work hard to provide a great experience for my wife and myself. My impression overall is one of friendly service and very different to being 'corporate' and cold. Hoping it retains that personal touch. Food was tasty with a decent range in the evening and for breakfast. Don't omit a visit to Titchwell bird reserve and bird hides ( 2 minutes away) where we saw a good range of fresh water and sea birds dining on mud flats. All set in glorious country and sea views. Perfect.

Guest:Christmas package. We have been going to Titchwell for Christmas since 2018 and it's been fantasitc. Then Eric sold it to a group and we will not be going in 2026. It lost it's manager and head chef, it was badly understaffed so things didn't run smoothly and the food was, frankly, substandard. Sorry, the staff tried their best but without direction from senior staff anyway... plus it seems to have lost it's soul and just become another bog standard chain unit. And a turkey roll with stuffing does not match with actual turkey and separate stuffing, three bullet like sprouts, a dish of red cabbage, a slice of carrot and three roast potatoes does not match the spread of previous years! Full English breakfast - 27th breakfast ran out of mushrooms, no beans, burnt eggs? Very sad, very disappointed. The Chestnut Group have their work cut out to get back to the hotel's previous standards.

Guest:Had previously come to Titchwell on its New Year package in 2023 and did so again unaware that it had changed ownership. I've given three stars because our room was very comfortable and well appointed, and cleaned acceptably, but the dinner service on New Years' Eve left a lot to be desired, so on the basis of that I'd have given it two stars. The food was good quality but there was very poor communication between the kitchen and the waiting staff: I'm a vegetarian with a few moderate additional dietary intolerances, and several times was given the wrong food, or it was mis-described; it could have led to me inadvertently eating meat or something that I was intolerant to, both of which would have been extremely distressing - this really needs to be be got on top of by management. We'd ordered a packed lunch for New Years' Day but the order got lost twice somewhere between the reception and the kitchen. New Year's Day evening meal was much more together. Also, the policy ong dogs needs to be more rigorously policed. We understood that dogs were restricted to the bar area but on NYE other guests brought in two massive hounds to the lounge area, which although not noisy were an unwelcome unpredictable presence when we were hoping to have a relaxing time by the fire bringing in the New Year. As per other recent reviews, things seem to be being held together by staff remaining from before the change of management.

Guest:Overall, we were left disappointed. Having stayed and eaten several times previously, we felt it has lost its sparkle which made it special. The room was tired, the food was not of 3 rosette status and they even forgot our main course on one evening (when it eventually arrived, it was so salty we ate half of it.) They didn't charge us for it, so made an effort to apologise which was appreciated, but it still should not have happened, especially with 8 customers in the restaurant - it was not busy. All the staff we came across were lovely and the setting is beautiful. Please get your sparkle back.
