Perfetto hotel ottimo servizio impeccabile pulizia perfetta e colazione incredibile dolce e salata.

Hotel molto bello sia nella struttura che nel giardino retrostante molto curato. La posizione è ideale perchè appena fuori Matera dove c'è meno caos e da dove ci si riesce a spostare facilmente. Stanze molto curate e personale molto attento ai clienti. Da consigliare assolutamente.

Breakfast ok. Room was clean and comfortable. TV had no English speaking stations. Google maps showed hotel 0.4 miles away from actual location. Staff had difficulty telling me where property actually was, when phoned in with problem. Staff helpful in scheduling City tour, but when could not locate tour guide, had difficulty helping to make connection.

酒店特别舒服，乾净衞生，最主要很大，我们住2楼，前面有院子，后面有阳台，离马泰拉古城也超级方便。特别前台经理INNO人帅心好，超级认真仔细的给我们讲怎样游玩马泰拉，车停哪里最方便。特别特别温暖

Great hotel - lovely contemporary room - helpful friendly staff - fantastic continental breakfast selection. One slight negative is the location with it being a c20 minute taxi ride into the centre - Sassi.

Prima hotel om te slapen en te ontbijten. Kunstzinnig ingerichte kamers. Er is ook wellness maar dat hebben we niet gebruikt. Er is geen restaurant voor het diner. Behulpzame receptie, je krijgt een goede lijst met restaurants in de stad. Hij hielp ons ook de weg weer op te komen via de nauwe poort. De lijst leverde ons een paar fijne maaltijden op buiten de toeristenrestaurants. Nadeel is de afstand tot het centrum, wij hebben een taxi geregeld, je kunt ook parkeren in een parkeergarage en dan lopen. Het ontbijt is goed, voor elk wat wils, maar er is geen service voor warme gerechten, zoals een omelet. Het raam kan ‘s nachts niet open, want het verkeer raast langs.

Great hotel with the beautiful breakfast near city centre. Just keep in mind that you will not be able to walk to the centre, so you will need a car.

Ottima posizione per raggiungere Matera (5 minuti in auto) e per raggiungere qualsiasi altra meta. L'hotel è davvero una "chicca" sinonimo di relax e cortesia. Tutto il personale, dalle signore delle pulizie alla reception, di una gentilezza squisita, disponibili a fornirci informazioni molto utili. La colazione ricca e molto buona. Si percepisce quanto ci tengono alla struttura e alla loro città. Bravi!

Good hotel on the outskirts of Matera
Hotel Cave del Sole was a nice hotel that was exactly what we needed for two nights exploring Matera.
There’s parking for around 10 cars in a courtyard in front of the hotel (plus an underground garage which looked tight to park in). This opens on to a fairly busy road - take care exiting. You really do need a car as it’s 10 mins drive to Matera. We went to a local restaurant recommended by the hotel: 5 mins drive and fine (not pretty but nice pizza).
Our room was for three: a bedroom and a sofa bed in what would normally be the sitting room - all comfortable. It was quite functional but nice - all white and clean. There was a kettle and reception kindly provided milk. Breakfast was fine and staff were helpful and friendly.
Matera btw is definitely worth including on your Puglia visit - we spent a full day there and we’re able to see most of it.
A great, functional hotel (not a ‘wow’ but very nice) that ticked all the boxes.
