A friendly, helpful and professional staff led by Tracey made my stay comfortable. Excellent breakfasts served overlooking a stunning seaview started my days off perfectly.
I loved everything about this guesthouse, the perfect location, specious parking, friendly staff, comfortable and spacious room. Beautiful and very neat guesthouse with tranquility, very friendly staff & best breakfast. Good value for money!
Everything is up to standard, there is no false advertisement. What you see on their page is exactly what you gonna get. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Loved the location its very quiet and lot of activities around.?????
The staff were ?? amazing. The room spacious and everything you needed and more. The owner went above and beyond to help us with Wi-Fi. They had had a storm that had taken out the guesthouse Wi-Fi. She actually gave me her own router so I could ring my brother in England. If you want somewhere to stay in the Margate area look at this accommodation. We had room 5 and the views were fantastic. Breakfast was fantastic, didn’t eat again until 3 pm. Thank you as well for the small parting gift, thankfully it wasn’t needed !
Had a great time at beachcomber Bay. The breakfast was so delicious and filling. The rooms were good and staff was very friendly and caring. The hotel is situated close to the CBD in Margate, allowing easy access to stores and restaurants.

We personally felt the BNB was in much need of Renovation. Website Photos were deceiving. (probally Professional ones that had been taken many years ago) There was still an old Gold Plaque on the Wall with some AA Hotel & Hospitality Rating. Upgrade needed to Entry Driveway to Main Gate & Non-Operational Intercom to access Entry Gate-loose wires & a piece of paper stuck to the Intercom, with contact numbers on, to phone to Access Entry and there were Renovations going on when we were there, that we had been unaware of beforehand. Other things to note: No Shower in the Apartment? An Interleading Locked Door to another Room? With audible argueing of Guests late into the Night. Although the Room was Clean it was really Dated & Cupboards (Bathroom, BICs & Dresser) were in Urgent need of Replacements, as well as the Old Bar Fridge. We had not been there long, when we were told they are switching off the Water for an Hour to do Plumbing Repairs upstairs!? We had to tell them to give us half an hour to Bath, as we had a Wedding to attend! Fortunately there was a very good operational Ceiling Fan in the Room, as there was no Aircon. The Bed was comfortable & we generally had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was Good but very Hot in the Dining Room, with a Non-Operational Ceiling Fan.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Beachcomber Bay Guest House. The host very friendly and caring. The breakfast was excellent. The security was very good. The rooms were good however very hot in summer. The sea view from the guest house was amazing.
