This is my third time staying at this hotel. And sadly, it just doesn’t get any better. And they even did a remodel since I was here last. Sad, old hotel that is unfortunately the best that Calapan has to offer. The rooms are clean, the pool is good and the staff very nice, but that’s about all I can say to the positive. No hot water, little in the way of amenities and the breakfast included with the room is just pathetic. All of this and reasonably expensive by Phillipines standards. I had just come from the Lalaguna Villas in Puerto Galera, so the contrasts were extreme. I am currently at the Manila Hotel, so again the contrasts are extreme. There are few options for a hotel in Calapan, they host many weddings and local events. But seriously, someone should open a decent hotel in a capital city of 140,000.

The details here aren't updated. One that caught my interest was the sauna and they don't have one. As per the staff, it has been 15years now with no Sauna. I stayed for 1 night only and it was so noisy early morning. I dunno if it was the room next to mine. In general, it was ok. No mosquitoes inside the room this time. Good job?? Thanks
