I’ve just returned from a lovely few days spent at Beechwood House. I stayed in the single room which was comfortable and had a sea view. The Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Good WiFi in the room. Very convenient for Carbis Bay beach and buses into St Ives and Penzance. I would definitely stay again.

Few days away Amazing hotel clean, fresh, rooms are lovely, nice size and complementary tea and coffee and mini fridge stocked, Jan the owner was lovely very welcoming, car parking is limited on site but that didn’t bother us we parked in a side street near the hotel, lovely location, shop few steps away, Carbis bay hotel and beach literally 5/10 minutes walk but mind the hill on the way back up, you can drive down but parking can be expensive for the day and limited spaces. Definitely return.

Pleasant. Clean and comfortable. Great location. Bit disappointed that the B in B&B has disappeared. Although a few continental items are provided in the room, it isn't quite the same as a hot, waited-on, sit down morning meal. We don't know why this isn't provided anymore, but we'd be happy to pay a little extra for it.

Hosts Jan and Peter were fab and made you feel at home straight away. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean with kettle, tea and coffee. The fridge was replenished every day with water, milk fruit juice and other breakfast items. Beechwood house is ideally positioned for bus and train into St Ives with some local restaurants locally. We will be definitely returning in the future.

A must stay, fantastic Me and my partner stayed here 2 nights for her surprise birthday trip to St Ives and we loved it, finding the place was easy, as was parking. We checked in with a gentlemen whose name I unfortunately cannot recall but he was so friendly and welcoming, giving us plenty of advice for our stay which we appreciated. Our room was lovey and stocked with plenty of bits for breakfast including cereals, milk, Greek style yoghurts, fruit pots, and croissants as well as bottled water, tea, and coffee, all of which would be restocked and cost us no extra. Our room was cleaned and restocked while we were out. Now the highlight of our stay, I had booed a trip for my partners birthday but had not bought a cake, fortunately she didn’t have a problem with this but I wanted to get a hold of one, I asked the lovely lady running this B&B and she gave me plenty of ideas where to get a hold of one as well as allowing us to check out later which was also very kind. Once I had got my hands on a birthday cake the lovely lady had popped to the shops herself to get a card and gift bag full of sweet treats to say happy birthday which was so heartwarming and my partner was chuffed to bits. A very nice touch, thank you so much!

We had 6 days at Beechwood House. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable of the areas, suggesting places to visit that we didn't know about. Our first impressions when we entered the room was how clean it was. The countertop fridge was well stocked and topped up every day. We'd definitely recommend Beechwood House.

Good stay

Our first impression was that this place has seen better days but we soon realised we’d found an affordable gem. We had a small room, which was very cosy, but more than adequate if you are out for most of the day. Very comfortable bed and lovely fluffy towels. Fridge refilled daily with water, juice, snacks etc. tea and coffee facilities, even an egg boiler. Parking on site for a limited number of cars. It’s about ten minutes walk downhill to the station (￡1 to St Ives). There’s a chemist, mini supermarket, cafe and Spanish restaurant within 100m. If you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend bringing earplugs and an eye mask.

I would say the stay was excellent .The owners were very kind and helpful. Very clean room and amazing service.Very accomodating. Highly recommended!!??Best vacation ever! If you ever need advise or need help ask the locals,they're so helpful . BEAUTIFUL PLACE..Must visit St.Ives..Bare in mind the bus timings and also would recommend the day pass if travelling by bus. Purtocurno has its beautiful beach highly recomended to take the top open bus if travelling there..Restaurants are great there. Also dont miss the the light house boat ride to watch the seals at St.Ives...Enjoy,?
