I love this hotel, it takes you back to Colonial Piura with its Spanish looks, it’s in the best part of Piura Center next to the plaza and the cathedral. There are always safe taxi in front and it’s truly a beautiful hotel.

Buena ubicación pero ya se nota los a?os, lastima que no está bien cuidada.

No fue una estadía agradable El ambiente ya contaba con deficiencias por antigüedad (por ejemplo, las sillas poltrona de la piscina se veían que requerían pintura), la puerta de mi ba?o no cerraba bien (tenía que empujar fuerte para que cierre bien). Otro problema es que me cobraron el IGV pero la factura que me dieron NO indica que es IGV (con lo incrementa el gasto pues el IGV es crédito fiscal). Además NO cuento con la factura por todo el gasto (solo con eso que me cobraron que siendo IGV no me cuenta como IGV).

During my stay an incident occurred that was at no fault of the hotel, but they were incredible in handling. Jose went above and beyond to make sure my stay was going well and checked in with me multiple times after the incident. I felt very cared for and was truly touched at the effort from the staff to ensure I was okay. Because I don’t speak Spanish it can be hard for me to communicate when visiting Latin America, but Jose was always available to translate for me to other staff. This was my second stay at Los Portales and I will definitely be back!
