As much as I would like to give this place a high rating, I could not. The property seemed to have vacant rooms, but yet she put us in the one closest to the main road, cars driving by all night and it was loud! Also no sink on the unit so no place to wash your plates and utensils other than the small bathroom. We stayed in the Cozy unit so make sure you ask NOT to stay in that one!

I’d just like to clarify that the room allocation wasn’t chosen by us — you or your travel agent made the booking through *******, where you can select the exact room type you prefer. The Cosy Studio you booked is our most budget-friendly option and the reason for this is it’s located closer to the road but during the evening there's very little traffic. The sink in the bathroom is larger than normal where you can wash your plates and cutlery. If guests don't want to do any of the washing we service the rooms every day and our staff can do it for you.All features of this unit, including its size, layout, and amenities, are clearly shown in the photos and described in the listing so guests can make an informed choice before booking.If you prefer a larger and quieter room with additional amenities, you should choose to stay in our Luxury King Spa Villas.

Great accommodation only downside was complete lack of storage space for clothes and an extremely noisy road immediately outside

The room was great, the bed was comfortable, the spa bath was nice way to finish the day.

Thanks Gina for a great stay in Yungaburra. We are locals who stayed for a family wedding. A very clean, comfortable, convenient and well thought out space. We had everything we needed. We stayed in the 3 bedroom which was perfect for our family group. It included the room others have commented on which is close to the road however with the blinds and shutters, the noise wasn't an issue for us. Would recommend. Special family memories made. Thank you!

We stayed one night at the Blue Summit Hideaway in a two bedroom spa villa and we enjoyed it very much. The villa was very stylish furbished und with everything equipped what you need. It is very centrally located and also very close to the Platypus viewing platform. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

What a great place to stay! I was travelling with my elderly mother with mobility issues. The owner was lovely and made every accommodation she could to make our stay the best it could be given the setbacks. The villa was modern, stylish and very clean which was a standout point for me. Beds and pillows were clearly great quality and very comfortable (we had stayed in several hotels throughout Cairns and the tablelands) which made for a much-needed good sleep. Yungaburra offered many quaint stops and adventures unique to the area making it the perfect stop over location. Will be staying there again next time. Highly recommend in every aspect.

The Hideout at Blue Summit Hideaway was the perfect accommodation for our 8-day stay in beautiful Yungaburra. It provided everything we needed - a comfortable bed, TV with free Netflix, free wi-fi, a washing machine and dryer, and full cooking facilities. Within a few minutes’ walk were lovely cafes, a lively pub, a supermarket and places to see platypus. The countryside around Yungaburra is glorious, a combination of tropical rainforest, rolling farmlands, crater lakes and one of Australia’s most important birdwatching sites, Hastie’s Swamp. Gina, our host at Blue Summit Hideaway could not have been more welcoming or helpful.

Hello Gary You have sumed up our area to a T. I hope we can convince all the Southerns south of Cairns all the way to the bottom of Tasmaia, to get a chance to witness, paradise. The Atherton Tablelands surroundings is magnificient with all the Lakes, rainforests and all the wildlife that is unique to this area only, for example the Tree Climbing Kangaroo. I may be bias but i believe Yungaburra, is the most prettiest town in Australia and this location should be on everyone bucket list. See you again at Blue Summit Hideaway, Yungaburra :))

Great location, well appointed, made to feel very welcome. Easy to find and check-in/out. Bed was comfy, pillows not too hard. Spa was a nice addition. Landscaping added that extra touch of seclusion and greenness. I would certainly stay there again.
