We can’t rate this hotel highly enough. I wish we could give 10 stars. We visited as a family for 6 nights and from the moment we arrived we were impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Jordi, David and the lady whose name we didn’t find out, are amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are cool, clean and comfortable with lovely Proven?al style decor. The pool area is perfect for lounging and relaxing and the pool is a good size too. The views of Llafranc are incredible, possibly the best in town. Breakfast is a wonderful experience with fantastic homemade pastries, cakes and tortillas as well as hot and cold options we didn’t need to eat again until dinner time! We will definitely be returning. But a word of warning - beware of the Spanish cocktail measures!!
Bel h?tel, très bon accueil, personnel très sympathique disponible qui sait vous donner de bons conseils pour rendre le séjour agréable. Literie très confortable, vue magnifique sur la mer. Petit déjeuner buffet excellent avec de bons produits espagnols. Cocktails abordables. Très bon rapport qualité prix.
Lovely hotel in Llafranc which was a peaceful place to stay even in mid-July. The hotel is on a hill above the town and there are limited car parking spaces from late afternoon but you can park on the steep street outside. The welcome is friendly and we had room 103 which amusingly was between rooms 12 and 14 but they added a zero for superstition. It was large enough and well equipped and clean. Great balcony with a sea view. Quiet and cool at night with effective air-con. The breakfast is delicious with a varying dish of the day eg veg tart, Always a perfect tortilla and the Catalan staples of bread with ham and tomatoes. Exquisite little chocolate puff pastries. The swimming pool was a little bit small for a proper swim and can feel crowded when 4 or more people are using it. Green garden, parasols in use as long as the wind is not blowing. Than you to the receptionist who loaned us a beach parasol to take on our trip to La Fosca beach which was our favourite one. In the evenings, we walked down and back up which was fine and do-able in around 15 minutes. Good selection of restaurants but you need to book in advance. The hotel itself serves simple lunches but no dinner. They can rustle up a fine cocktail to enjoy in the comfy seats by the terrace. We recommend this family run, small and friendly hotel.
Deuxième séjour dans cet h?tel toujours aussi accueillant et agréable . Le personnel est attentif à nos attentes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. La vue sur la mer est superbe. Très belle piscine qui semble être la prolongation de la mer. L'h?tel est doté d'un parking privatif bien pratique . Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Pas mal de petits restaurants sympas et petite plage dans la baie de Llafranc accessibles à pied en 5mn ( petite grimpette pour le retour tout à fait faisable même pour les moins sportifs). Délicieuses salades proposées le midi en bord de piscine pour ceux qui ne souhaitent pas "bouger". Adresse idéale pour déconnecter , repos et calme assurés.
Dès l’arrivée, on est séduit par la vue de la piscine et de la mer juste derrière. Magnifique ! L’équipe h?telière vous accueille avec le sourire et ce sera comme ?a durant tout votre séjour. Charmant ! Le petit déjeuner est très complet et vous fera découvrir les saveurs espagnoles. Gourmand ! J’y retournerai. Assurément ! Merci à cet h?telier et à toute son équipe.
It was a wonderful hotel to stay in. Immaculately clean, top quality furnishings all around. The best sun-beds I have ever used adjustable in every way. Totally peaceful. Unobtrusive service from excellent staff. Jordi who speaks perfect English runs the daytime David runs the hotel from 16.00 till midnight. These two employees are faultless, totally professional and so friendly. Every need taken care of with no fuss. So impressed with the staff and hotel, will return next year. Can’t rate them and the hotel highly enough.
Just fabulous staff, relaxed atmosphere and a great base for sightseeing or doing nothing. The rooms all have their own terrace or balcony and the staff are very accommodating. Breakfast is great and a decent snack and drinks list is available all day
Great hotel and lovely setting - wonderful service and staff - up on a hill overlooking the sea - lovely pool - relaxing and enjoyable - great town with lots of restaurants ! Driving distance to wonderful sights and Girona !
This charming hotel has the most amazing views of Llafranc and is a great choice for couples looking for a quiet, peaceful time. The room and pool area was lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts! Plenty to do here if you are fit and enjoy walking as the hotel is 5-10 minutes walk uphill from the town. Recommended.
This is one of the most perfect hotels we have stayed at in Spain. The accommodation for our first floor room looked over the beach, albeit a 10 minute walk down hill. We were staying bed and breakfast which was lovely, sitting out in the patio of the garden area for breakfast was perfect. The restaurant does not have a dinner option but has a snack menu including omelettes etc. Very quiet hotel, seems to be adults only. Lovely pool,not huge but enough for my daily swim.
