  • Guest：A really lovely place to stay. A very comfortable room with all necessary facilities, fantastic views, and Norm and Shelagh could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended: we'd love to return.
  • Guest：Quiet motel with plenty of space and an amazing view to boot. Perfect for a budget conscious family with teens who need a reasonably sized space with separate bedrooms and living area. As a bonus we were able to bring our fur baby (medium sized dog) with us for no additional charge and he was allowed inside with us - much cheaper than an Air B&B or Bachcare. Shelagh and Norm were so accommodating, friendly and kind. The weather was a bit miserable unfortunately, so we made plenty of use of the free DVD library and the heated pool. The motel is a little dated in its decor perhaps (if you care about that kind of thing) but it is spotlessly clean with lovely hosts. Very handy to the Phat House Brewery that has yummy pizza and is also dog friendly.
  • Guest：A spacious 2 bedroom suite that had a fabulous view. It was very clean and the couple who own it were both very delightful and helpful. We booked for one night and ended up staying 2 nights. The beds were comfortable and there was a great shower and an outside deck that overlooks Paihai.
  • Guest：My husband and I had a lovely relaxing 3 nights stay here, in a lovely quiet room overlooking the amazing view of Waitangi and Russell, we really enjoyed ourselves. Norm and Shelagh are great hosts, we loved talking to them, we have stayed here before, so it was nice to escape the hustle and bustle of town. Every day the view was different.
