What an amazing hotel this was! We had a two bedroom with mini kitchen and ensuite. The kitchen had a bar fridge, toaster, microwave and sink with cutlery and dinnerware. Breakfast cereals were provided as was a jar of milk in the fridge along with marmalade and jam which was fantastic. All we needed to provide was some bread which we bought from Lidl around the corner. The beds were super comfortable and the shower nice and hot. The only bad thing was having to drag my super heavy suitcase up the stairs :) There was lots of food options just 10mins down the promenade and it was an easy 20min walk to the train station. This was the best hotel of our stay in the UK and we would definitely stay here again. It was more than I expected and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.

Really lovely apartment, sea view, close to the sea, Steve the host was easy to contact if needed . A lovely break .would highly recommend.

Stayed one night but would have been comfortable to stay longer. Our room was large with two beds, dining table and kitchenette with a microwave and fridge/ freezer. Ensuite was a good size also and the room was light and airy with an ocean view. Located just one street back from the foreshore. Parking available in the street but had to park a bit further away when returning later that night.

Wonderful stay,lovely clean,big room with sea view.Fridge filled with lovely fresh fruit and yogurt,eggs bread and cereal,perfect. We stayed one night to visit The Minak Theatre,an amazing experience if anyone near by. Thankyou Duporth Guest House

The Duporth really was a stunning guesthouse. The room was immaculate, had a beautiful view, lovely shower and the mattress was sooo comfortable. Prime location 2 minute walk to the beach and promenade, Lidl 5 minute walk. I absolutely loved the thought, variety and effort put into the breakfast. Big jar of natural yogurt, lots of fresh fruit all cut up for you, jam, marmalade and honey in lovely little pots, eggs, bread an array of cereals, granola, milk and fresh juice. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay thankyou

Lovely welcome Easy booking process Superbly located for the beach and/or town Lovely continental breakfast in a domestic size fridge which would also be great in the summer for cold soft drinks. Toaster, kettle and microwave are great. As is the perfectly sized breakfast table with a beach view. Minor, love/hate moment is no marmite! Room very clean. hard floors do allow some noise transmission from other rooms. All looks very neat,clean and tidy. I'd definitely stay again.

We only saw the owner the last morning to pay. I had received a message before we arrived, with the instructions and the number of our room. The keys of our room were left on the door and the main door was left open all the time. We don't particularly like this system, but I found this quite often around the UK and Scotland. Also, the owner was always reachable over the phone and everything we requested was done and provided. Our room was big. Breakfast was self service in the room so they provided fresh fruits, milk, yoghurt, orange juice, eggs, bread, jam, butter, tea and coffee every morning. We had a microwave, cutlery, glasses, cups and plates. The negative aspects for us were: - smelly entrance. The carpet looked very old and, together with the smell did not give a good impression - our room was big but too full of stuff. There were blankets and bed nets under the beds and all sorts of paintings, mirrors and bedside tables. It felt too full of things. There was no attention to details in terms of furniture. Mattresses were different in different beds and not great to sleep (however this may be just personal taste). - too much light in our room as the light on the corridor was constantly on and there was a big window on top of the door so it was very bright in the room. Overall, it is a good average solution if you have to stop in Penzance as it is basically on the promenade and only 10 minutes walking from the city centre.
