Qualità struttura, camera, servizio e ristorante al top. Colazioni ottime e con ampia scelta. Posizione invidiabile, vicino al centro ma posizione lungo le arterie esterne. Ristorante con piatti tipici ma anche internazionali. Condizionamento un pò rumoroso.
Modern elegance. Very comfortable quiet and large rooms with quality bedding. Excellent service. Underground on site parking. Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast buffet is ample with outdoor seating. About 15 minute walk to the historic centre. Not a problem.
My visit at the Grand Hotel de la Ville was wonderful. I slept very well. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The staff were top notch. I wish every hotel I stayed at was as fine as this one. This was my first time in Parma, and I don't know if I will be back. But if I return, this is the hotel I would want to stay at.
appena fuori dal centro storico, hotel moderno, camere spaziose cosi' come i bagni, funziona tutto ma non l'aria condizionata ( bisogan chiedere accesso) e phon obsoleti. Per un 5 stelle non e' il massimo. Colazione discreta ma molto limitata in confronto ad altri hotel pari dignita'.
Chiariamoci subito non e' un cinque stelle. Tuttavia, secondo me, e' il meglio che possa offrire la città di Parma. Le camere sono spaziose e graziose. Problema: finestre con solo una tenda che consente il buio, in altre parole o vi guardano in camera o non vedete fuori, non che vi sia qualcosa di particolare da vedere intendiamoci. Colazione, anche no direi. Per il resto hanno il parcheggio riservato , il prezzo è' adeguato al servizio. La posizione: circa un km dal centro .
This quite a modern hotel described as five star but which in my opinion does not reach that standard. Front of house staff were great, happy to help with any thing we asked about. Bedrooms were a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. However, there was no drinking glass in the room and cardboard cups were provided instead. Our biggest concern was the step into the bath shower (no non slip mat provided) which we felt was somewhat dangerous for older folk as witnessed by the bruise on my wife's thigh. Breakfast was adequate and we did not use the restaurant for any other meals. The hotel is about a kilometre from the main historic sights along the main street.
The hotel is fabulous, the staff attentive and friendly, the food impressive and the facilities fab. The air conditioning is only on during the summer months, but as the windows open, that was fine for a perimenopausal woman! Their non alcoholic drinks were delightful and Andre the bar man even created his first Espresso Martini for me. The transfer driver we booked to the airport (Christine) was a joy too. The hotel is on the edge of a Galleria, but out of site, so handy for the supermarket or if you want to eat offsite. As a vegetarian who doesn't drink milk I found the breakfast to be fine, in fact I ate something different on the 3 mornings.
Great location , service and location. Reasonable price. Room is nice and spacious. Good breakfast. Lobby is great. Laundry excellent. Reception is good. No Iron in the room... City is amazing. Shopping and culture. Great trains and taxi.
